Before the season started most of us would've been happy with a series win, but considering how things are going, we need to take advantage of the Nuggets/Timberwolves struggles and get to WCF.
I wouldn't be able to get over not having a shot at OKC after doing great against them in the regular season.

As for Splitter, he can still be happy with the season. Got an unexpected chance, proved his worth and the owner putting him in a terrible position just works in his favor, he's proven he can work in let's call them suboptimal conditions.

Its hard to imagine the way things have lined up that the Spurs should not be heavily favored against both of those teams. We'll see how it plays out but there's no denying that it would be disappointing to not get to the WCF at this point the way things have lined up.

Assuming the Nuggets win in 7 they'll be coming in with a lot of momentum tbh. Even with a gimpy AG they'll be more than capable of winning that series. We all need to be Minny fans for the next few days imo.

I’d take us over an injured Denver. We’ll be favored in WCSF no matter what tbh.

Good thing they have almost a week of rest

Steph had a really rough game and I think maybe the battle with Deni took him out of his game a little bit… but at the same time, it also took Deni out of his game. We’re so much deeper than them, that’s a good trade.

POR fans might be asking if Deni is a playoff dropper, but I think it was just a matter of going up against a much better team.

Castle was pretty solid tbh. Was great throughout defensively (his last three fouls were all questionable calls at best) while he hit timely shots and got Wemby some easy buckets after the Guests cut it to 9.

Spurs fucked themselves by not pushing the lead to 30+ when they could've (thanks Mitch) but the refs played the biggest role in the Guests getting back into the game. Completely took the Spurs out of any sort of rhythm. Again, insane how bad the officiating was this entire series. Felt like the Spurs were already playing OKC tbh.

They just had no other offense beside him after Scoot and Jrue came back down to earth tbh. Hard to look good when the defense can focus solely on you.
