Game Thread Playoffs Round 1, Game 3: Blazers vs Spurs (1-1) (Fri 04/26/2026) [9:30 CDT]

That game 2 choke was so costly.
And that is why I was so angry after it. I thought we just blew the series. Again, I said that because I pretty much knew Victor would be out. I was hoping he'd play game three, because even with a loss, it'd give Victor a game to reacclimate. Now, he's going to have to come into a wild game 4 not in form.

Those guys that wanted Tiago to get a shot at head coach, good call. He's legit. Mitch, his offense during the regular season is D'Antoni like (great for regular season wins, but that style ain't going to get you playoff wins). Basically, leave it all on your players to make the plays and not do any work himself. No drawing up plays, no running an offense, yeah, what did they hire this guy for? Sweeney unfortunately is a great defensive coach, probably wouldn't have done any better with the offense. Tiago might have been a better hire since he had that team in Europe playing great ball.

And I had reservations about all of them (expect Devin, he's disappointed me badly so far). I said I didn't trust Keldon, Champ or Barnes in the playoffs. I didn't think they're playoff type guys.
I mean we know Barnes is not a playoff type guy if he could have made open 3's KD never goes tot he warriors.

I have always considered champ a scrub who can punch above his weight for short stints but that's it.

Keldon has always had a problem scoring over length. I'm less disappointed in his lack of production and more so disappointed in how scared he looks.
