Game Thread Playoffs Round 1, Game 3: Blazers vs Spurs (1-1) (Fri 04/26/2026) [9:30 CDT]

Mitch getting his pants pulled down by Tiago in this series wasn't on my bingo card.
Why not? Mitch has been a Pop sycophant all year. Easy to look good with the alien eraser out there.

Portland just doing the things Splitter used to do when he played with the Spurs while Mitch is trotting out the finesse nice guy ball.

Mentored by the candy ass codger who grabbed the mike to tell fans to stop booing Nephew. There's a reason every other good assistant left and got a gig elsewhere while Mitch the Bitch sucked his way up the assistant bench. Gonna waste 2-3 years of Wemby with this Chad when we could be winning titles.

Ugly game. It’s not over yet, however, we have this alien 👽 who is probably gonna play Sunday.
This team is busted and has no coaching at this level until they prove us otherwise.

Castle is pretty good at foul merchanting and doing well, but we've seen every spurs players nuts shrivel behind the line tonight.

Too many bitches seriously. Blazers is a playoff team in a deep West. You don’t expect them to just give this game at home

Everything coming easy for Portland. Every FGA is a chore for us. That doesn’t tend to work out well over extended periods of time.
Pretty much. It’s a brutal feeling when you fully expect the other team to score every possession while simultaneously having a sigh of relief if you’re able to eek out a basket on the other end.

I just don’t know if we have a solution without Wemby. Obviously Portland is running hot from 3 but I just don’t feel good at all about our chances of making a run here.

getting his head dunked in a toilet by a rookie interim coach who stepped up after the previous HC was taken down in a federal gambling sting and whose owner is publicly plotting against him :st-lmao:

Gentlemen, we still consider this a successful season right?

Considering all variables.............

This just isn’t a physical imposing team. Talented and defensive minded, but not physical and they struggle against teams who are

Splitter won both the league and cup in France, tbh.

What the fuck is everyone on about Vic? It was a fucking freak injury, now people are implying blame on him not suiting up?

I want Victor’s name out of all your fucking mouths. This team is obviously nothing without him.
It’s just a dumb coping mechanism that a lot of people are using to deal with the loss of Victor. Most people can’t accept that you have no control over bad luck which was the case with Victor’s injury.
