Hey guys, party’s just getting started. This is what it’s all about for a young team learning to win. Let’s see how our guys respond in Game 3.

We are establishing the hierarchy in real time. How we bounce back in Game 3 will be very telling and likely will determine how this series goes.

The Guests thoroughly outplayed San Antonio over the last five minutes. Very disappointing. Inexperienced showed and did not have any kind of offense. Not to mention they left shooters on the perimeter open. I really like Fox, but he is not a good off ball defender at times.

We’ll see what game three holds. At this point, I would take a split in Portland. Wemby might miss both games and I’ll be pleasantly surprised if he does not with the Spurs being so cautious. The Spurs have experienced playing without Vic, let’s see how they adjust with a game plan. Bottom line we’re going to have to hit more perimeter shots.

The gameplan down the stretch was clearly to attack Deni. Thats when things fell apart.

They were rolling. He came in and every time down court the Spurs ran clock and then went to a PNR to get the ball handler on Deni and attacked.

It ruined the entire flow of the offense. Deni didnt foul out and our guys were taking tough contested mid range shots.

Not trying to cliff jump as it's one game, but I have to be honest, not sure this team makes it out of the 2nd round with how we're looking lately. Pretty much every player aside from Wemby looks like ass out there. We may need a secondary "star" if we want to win a title.

It's also time for Mitch to earn his money. He needs to bitch about the refs and complain about them since Portland has gotten favorable treatment the last two games. Usually when a coach complains you can get one game where the refs give you favorable treatment in a series.

The most depressing part of this loss for me is I allowed myself to beleive all the talk of inexperience and etc wasn’t gonna bite us and we’d beat the odds… and we literally had a massive choke of inexperience in game 2 I guess if I’m putting my optimism hat on it’s good to face adversity earlier in a more winnable series instead of later on.

I need Vic news before I know how to feel about this. Without him I don’t think it’s unlikely we go down 1-3 coming back home and at that point do we trust Mitch and the youngins to fight back out of that hole? ESP if they weren’t able to respond in g3 or g4? All speculation, guess I’m trying to say we need to respond in Portland otherwise I think this season is a wash.

Fox is gonna need a 30 piece with Wemby out for me to forgive him and trust him the rest of the way tbh.
