Vassell had to revert back to playing the main character because our actual main characters couldn't do shit.
If not for Vassell's mid-range shots, there would've been no close ending.

This game was awful injury wise and gave me shades of '01 game 1 against the Mavs when Juwon Howard took out DA with that dirty body slam that took out his shoulder. We have potentially lost Barnes for the playoffs and Harper is hobbled and possibly won't get back Victor until game 5. Even if the Spurs make out of this series it seems like they have been weakened for whoever wins the Wolves-Nugget series. Just terrible luck overall tonight.

Looks like the earliest Wemby can come back will be Game 5, if that is the case Games 3 and 4 will be very scary! I guess we will find out what our young guys are made off.
