Hopefully NBC gives an epic 90's like intro for this game. On a sidenote the Spurs last playoff game on NBC was a loss on a Sunday to the Lakers back in 2002 which was game 4 of that series.

Portland can't win a game unless they get ridiculously hot or we're playing our worst basketball of the season.
We have too many weapons, one or two players having an off night isn't an issue when we're the way better team.
This was just 11 days ago.
Blazers playing at full strength for the seeding, Spurs running through the motions without Wemby and Castle. It wasn't even close.
That's with the Blazers making one more 3pt than the Spurs.

I’m not worried about the Blazers. Im just slightly worried about the nerves and atmosphere getting to them and letting that getting into their heads to the point they’re rushed and not playing our brand of ball.
If the lack of experience were to play a role, it’d be in these two games where all the pressure is on them tbh.
I think they’ll be okay though.

I'm probably as jittery as them, but with me it doesn't matter! Yeah there will be some jitters, but after the ball gets moving it should fine. Hopefully the energy of the crowd will lift them, as it will be intense. To think I used to take going to the playoffs for granted!

Outside of Jrue, Grant, and Timelord, Portland are young and experienced too so they should have some jitters as well tbh. After the first few minutes though it shouldn't matter. Just remind the troops that it's just basketball and to go out and hoop. They'll feed off the crowd's energy once they make some runs which should help settle them in.
