Game Thread Playoffs Round 1, Game 1: Spurs vs Blazers (0-0) (Sun 04/19/2026) [8:00 CDT]

After being spoiled of making the playoffs every year except one from 1990-2019, I think having a 7 year drought definitely gave us the hunger once again to simply appreciate being back in the playoffs.

I remember the games would feel so mellow in rounds 1 and 2 (for the most part) cause we just expected to be there.

But Now? We’re pulling our hairs out and yelling through the ceiling from excitement and it’s just game 1

"Be more physical, especially against Victor", that's what Avdija just said in his post game presser... wtf they really want to injure him since they can't win against him, and the refs are happy to let it happen...
Hope Avdija does not start to think of a Wemby injury being promised to him 3,000 years ago. :ROFLMAO:

Crypto/Staples is a dead arena by comparison. The lighting alone would put you to sleep :st-lol:

The replies to that tweet like always prove that Laker fans are dumbest fans in the league. I laughed at their response by them screaming the Lakers have 17 titles and the Spurs have 5 so it doesn't matter. Well at least now they are no longer saying the Spurs have 4.5 titles lol which they used to say based on the '99 title being an asterisk title in their eyes.

It was a bit unsettling seeing the team revert right to back early season form where the opponent goes on a 10-0 run to begin the 3rd quarter.
I am happy overall but right now they are 0-1 in the Playoffs for not coming out flat in the 3rd quarter.
