Suspending Gobert would ensure this series goes at least 6. Then MIN would basically be in a must-win situation back home for that one because if they allow this thing to go back to DEN for a Game 7, Nuggets are advancing tbh.

Pretty much. Unless there are some other angles that I haven’t seen, suspending Gobert seems absolutely absurd. Jokic is pretty clearly the guy most at fault.
 
If the rule was so black and white Lamelo would have been suspended due to the pistons/hornets brawl
 
DEN has a lot to lose if the "leave the bench" rule (which apparently isn't a rule anymore) were enforced.

also "unwritten rules of the game are stupid" and usually quite arbitrary. McDaniels waging psychological warfare, and winning.

I still think McDaniels is a dick but Jokic shouldn’t have taken the bait.
 
Also, Mamu proving meaningful playoff minutes makes me happy
