There you have it. Minnesota is fucked…but if they can somehow pull off one more win we might be guaranteed a WCF appearance tbh.
Damn, that is devastating. Feel bad for their fans.

There's a black and white rule about one behavior. There's not about the other. Jokic was ejected, and got his technical. The argument for suspending Rudy is fucking stupid. He clearly wanted to de-escalate. If you’re enforcing a rule meant to de-escalate a fight by suspending someone who may have technically broken it to de-escalate a fight, then it’s a stupid rule that shouldn’t be enforced.
If you suspend Rudy, then why not also Jokic. He went out of his way to confront McDaniels for doing the most basic thing in the sport - putting the ball in the basket. Maybe that’s a bad look, but Jokic ran cross court and put hands on McDaniels. That’s way more severe than what Rudy did.
Instigator is Jokic. Walks into McDaniels. That video would make suspending Gobert and fining Jokic even worse, even if the NBA tries to claim ‘letter of the law.’
You can’t suspend Gobert who tried to break up a potential fight and only fine Jokic, who tried to start one. If Gobert’s suspended (which would be stupid), you at least have to suspend Jokic too.
I would just shut it down. Even if they beat us, they won't get past OKC anyway.Sucks for Ant tbh. Hate to see injuries at any point but especially at this point in the season. With that said, I'd rather face MIN without Ant or Donte than DEN tbh.
This actually gives Ant's knees some time to recover though. If they can find a way to finish off Denver, I think Ant could return later in the next series tbh.
Go wolves!!!

Maybe. But the fact they had him out there the past 3 games on a knee that's clearly not healthy makes me think they won't hesitate to play him if they think he can do it tbh.I would just shut it down. Even if they beat us, they won't get past OKC anyway.
They’re always weird when they play tbhMan never in a million years did I expect this out of the Denver/Wolves series. Just massively weird.
They're going to have to move Cam Johnson if they want to retain Peyton Watson, who's an UFA this Summer. Then they're stuck with the contracts of:If Denver loses in the 1st round to the hobbled 6th seed T-Wolves, I wonder what changes might happen there over the summer. It's becoming apparent that the league requires defense to be part of the equation to winning in 2026. Denver can't do it with offense alone. Not sure how you improve that team's defense. Maybe Udoka becomes a candidate if the weirdest looking coach in the NBA gets fired? I do think Denver can regroup and save face for one game at home and extend the series, especially if Gobert, Randle, etc are suspended a game. I don't think they can do it 2 more times after that. Just one man's opinion.
That is so in character for those fans.Nuggs fans on social media getting cocky this morning after hearing the Ant news. Bunch of clowns. Would be sweet to kick their asses in the 2nd round.
Detroit did it to Grant Hill.Maybe. But the fact they had him out there the past 3 games on a knee that's clearly not healthy makes me think they won't hesitate to play him if they think he can do it tbh.
Effing dicks tbhThat is so in character for those fans.
Some of you might be too young to remember, but Denver fans once threw coins at the Spurs because they weren't getting calls. Their coach had to get on the PA to tell them to stop.

from what I recalled:
1) the stay on your bench rule was put in place after a suns Knicks brawl, if I remembered correctly.
2) Rudy T was cited as the reason that even if you are a peacemaker you put yourself in danger. Odd incident to cite as it happens more than a decade when the rule was implemented. But it may have been from the media, don’t remember exactly.
3) Ewing stepped on the line in a game vs Miami. Argument that him stepping over the line didn’t put anyone in danger. Ewing was still suspended but rule was updated to vicinity of bench area.
4) Horry check happened and those fairy suns loving media were crying a river. Stern told them to shove it. Nothing was updated.
I’d be disappointed if gobert isn’t suspended in this. He clearly broke the rule which was in place for 33 years, updated almost 30 years ago, tested almost 20 years ago, and upheld with no exceptions throughout. If there’s anyone to blame it’s gobert being stupid and the wolves staff not keeping players in check. Btw I don’t hate gobert, I’ve never understood the hate for him and felt he has been unfairly criticized.
Jokic rushed over, but I don’t see him starting the scrum, mcdaniels pulled his jersey first.
Randle most definitely escalated this crap.
