NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

Candace Parker is a damn good analyst/commentator.

She’s right, Minny should be attacking the paint relentlessly and generating any 3’s after paint touches if a layup isn’t available.
It's to the point where anyone that doesn't like her I assume they just have something against female commentators. She's objectively really damn good.

What a fucking pickup Ayo was tbh.
He'd help the Rockets so much. Too bad their org is a dumpster fire.

But their defense is way worse than Wolves which might allow Spurs' extremely suspect half-court offense more margin to manufacture points. Fox/Castle/Harper are struggling against Portland perimeter length; McDaniels/Edwards will be as stifling, added more experience and pedigree..

I'm leaning more to "you can't have a choice here"; both will be equally challenging. It's difficult to deny T'Wolves resilience and how they appear tailor-made for these playoffs tussles. That Game 2 win was as gutsy as they come

Edwards' knee is hanging by a thread, although Jokic's wrist is messed up too.

Still, I default to the better player and the matchup issues they cause the Spurs.

Spurs just need a burly 4 like Randle and the defense will be set for the next 5 years with CB emerging and Harper inevitably replacing Fox tbh.
Morez Johnson Jr. out of Michigan is the closest thing to Julius Randle in the upcoming draft tbh. 6'9 255 lbs with a 7'2 wingspan. Not quite as talented or as fluid as Randle but still pretty talented and fluid in his own right. He's projected in the 16-24 range though so he could be gone by the time we pick.

Remember when Rudy Gobert was patient zero for COVID? Good times.

Pepperidge farm remembers.

can he shoot?

I think that event was what caused people to hate him and look at him through a magnifying glass.

I'd rather see whoever loses this series. That's just how it goes.

Ant will get healthy. He has that Wolverine DNA in him like LeBron. The fact that he's been able to play through whatever this is every game should tell you enough.

We need Denver to extend this, tbh.

Definitely part of it, but he's also French and American players don't really fuck with him for that reason tbh. I remember he was the very last pick in the All-Star Game Draft 2 years in a row back when KD and Lebron were picking teams :st-lol:
