NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

Jokic struggling big time, Rudy doing a fantastic job, but it's so much more than Rudy too. He's got to worry about McDaniels and Naz Reid flying over as secondary defenders both who are 6'10 and athletic and long, Randle can body him up and be physical and have Rudy or Naz Reid be the help defender. Then you have Divincenzo, Dosunmu, Edwards flying around trying to strip him.

Minny plays Jokic similar to how OKC does, but even better.

The Lakers really benefitted by the Nuggets winning their last game against the Spurs. If the Nuggets had lost that game then the Lakers would have been the 3 seed and would have gotten curb stomped by this Wolves team again just like they did last year.

I agree their offense is great but on the other hand, Minny is going to keep pounding them.
Just the back-and-forth momentum in a playoff series. It’s hard to predict. Remember 2005 we went to Detroit and they were beating the dog shit out of us. It looked hopeless.

Denver's only chance is them praying they go nuclear because their shitty defense isn't going to save them. Detroit always had their suffocating defense as a constant.

But yeah, we'll see.

Damn we all freaked out in the Denver game for fumbling the seeding, meanwhile Denver looks terrible

Just to get curb stomped by the Thunder.

They're also gonna end up overpaying for guys like Kennard, Smart, and Ayton this summer as a result tbh.

Minnesota is just a bad matchup for them. Have been for a while now. It's exactly why they wanted to avoid them. Denver screwed themselves beating us in the last game of the season 2 weeks ago tbh.

Injuries across the board are the only way the league considers shortening the season tbh.

I definitely agree this will happen but from a pride standpoint it’s better for them to lose in round 2 vs losing in round 1.
