NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

Damn that looked like a vintage Mitch Johnson “out of timeout into a turnover” play, can’t believe it

(I’m just playing mods pls don’t ban me)
I'm glad i'm not the only one noticing his crappy ATO plays. At the start of season a professional scout told Nate Duncan (Dunc'd on podcast) that this was Mitch Johnson's least impressive part of his coaching from what he has seen from him. Sadly, he's been proven right.

I’ll never ever understand canning Thibbs only to bring in Mike Fucking Brown.
Dolan is a horrendous owner. He had been pretty much hands off for a long time and once the Knicks got good again he decided to meddle again.

Hell of a finish in Atlanta.

Should be another fun Denver game. Really like when arenas dim the lights to hide the seating like Minni is doing here.

Yeah, but we got our own problems right now so it’s hard to feel good about any of that.
Didn't really mean it like that. I can assure you I'm no more excited about having to matchup with Minnesota than I would be Denver if the Spurs can win this first round.

If Denver lose this series. Heads got to roll for not playing the match-up game effectively in season finale when you got a bunch of brittle/injured dudes.

Is Jokic fatigued from having to carry this team all year or does Gobert generally give him a lot of problems? I'm so used to seeing Jokic in god mode against everyone else.

Obviously, Spurs have their own problems and can't look ahead.

But standing by my statement that Minny looks like the tougher 2nd round opponent even with a healthy AG on the Nuggets.

Their defensive ceiling is as high as anybody's in the league when Ant is locked in and they're still pretty good offensively when not turning it over.

If we advance, Spurs are either way guaranteed to have a tough series they could lose. The Wolves are a legit built-for-the-playoffs force.

Getting Minnesota on OKC's side of the bracket was the biggest reason I wanted that #1 seed. Even moreso than getting homecourt vs the Thunder.

Honestly both of these teams look very beatable. I think I’ll be pretty disappointed if we don’t make the WCF tbh.

Maybe we should focus on getting past Portland first though :st-lol:

When this team stops Scoot fuckin' Henderson from looking like prime Westbrook, we can then talk about Denver& Minny being beatable :st-lol:

So all the people that were wrist slitting the final game of the season, if the Wolves win this series, ultimately it didn't matter except to the Nuggets.

We will pass Portland with flying colors.

I am not worried about Den since they are anti clutch and their coach = Mitch.

Min are clutch in closing minutes which we can’t stop and plays tough game.
