NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

The league doesn't GAF about the Suns and they'll do nothing about this.

Then OKC will play a returning Luka with the Lakers and we'll see the most painful-to-watch basketball we've seen in ages and maybe then the league will give a shit. But it may also be that both teams get called for fouls so egregiously that they cancel each other out like two opposite sound waves :st-lol:
Yeah Luka and SGA together might get messy real quick. 'Two men, one whistle.' "500 miles, 500 miles, you can her the whistle blow 500 miles."

J-Dub right?

That's like his 3rd hamstring strain this year if so. If that's the case, then I'd honestly think he's in jeopardy to miss minimum Round 2 for them given how much it has re-occurred this season tbh.
It’s a different leg than all the other ones. Dudes cooked

Yea J-Dub. But it was his right hamstring that caused him to miss 49 games earlier this season. Last night it was his left hamstring, so this is a new injury tbh. I'm sure they'll play it safe as they really don't need him to beat the Lakers or Rockets in Round 2 either, but typically a Grade 1 hamstring is like 1-2 weeks recovery time so pretty mild.

I'm not sure how much better it is that it's a different hammy tbh. They're playing with fire if they bring him back before the WCF at a minimum tbh. That's how you get achilles tears.

He's looked like complete ass coming back from injury this year for several games... If he does miss two series and gets back for the WCF, I would imagine whomever their opponent is, isnt going to be facing him at full strength... and his VoRP might actually drag them down considering who is behind him on the bench.

He looked great in Game 1 Monday tbh. Led OKC in scoring with a 22/7/6 stat line on 9/15 shooting. But yea he didn't look good to finish the season after returning from his injury. And maybe, time will tell. They're the deepest team in the league so they'll be alight for at least the next round.

I agree. They'll err on the side of caution and likely sit him out through at least the next round. They don't need him to beat either of those teams anyways. WCF don't start til the middle of May so that'd give him 3-4 weeks to recover. I think he'll be fine with that timeline tbh but we'll see. Hamstrings are tricky and delicate and like you said, they can lead to achilles injuries so they def won't force anything.

Jesus christ, they better not try and keep Giannis and trade for Morant or something. I'm so over the Giannis/Milwaukee saga tbh.
Yea hiring Jenkins for a rebuild seems odd… But I also can't see them keeping Giannis. He wants out and it's time tbh. That roster is nowhere close and he turns 32 later this year. Shams says MIL had been aggressively pursuing him for a while so maybe they're comfortable just handing him the keys for the next 6+ years and letting him build a roster with whatever drat capital they're about to receive from a Giannis trade. That said, I would've thought Jenkins would wait for a better opportunity tbh.

How in the world could viewership be up 65% in one season?

And 35M viewers but 4.87M average worked out to 7 games on Sunday. There wasn’t 7 games on Sunday. There was only 4. What gives?

And 35M over 4 games averaged out to 8.75M per game.

How are these things calculated? Perhaps it’s not a straight viewership per game?

Oof.

@Exstatic has been calling Gordon’s calf being on borrowed time for a while now. Sucks cuz I like AG and this a genuinely fun series with both teams as healthy as possible tbh.
