NBA Official 2026 NBA Playoffs Thread

Draymond thinks Kerr might be done in GS. Time will tell and not sure I agree, but if that is the case, then he might actually be willing to opt out of his PO and become an UFA this offseason if another team's willing to pay him equal or more salary ($27M). Spurs might actually be interested in a savy vet like him beside Wemby and co tbh. He'd def be an upgrade over Barnes imo. Unlikely but you never know.

Durant's status has blurred favorite status in Lakers/Rockets, leaving Pistons/Magic as the only possible upset.

If the Magic could be trusted to stay out of their own way and not quit on the season, they're just as physical and tough, with more talent.

Draymond with the Spurs?

Hell nah....he will ruin the perfect chemistry we had with some bonehead moves and apologize and people will kinda forgive him and he will pull some crazy stunts again and this will keep repeating.

GSW might have 3 or 4 more rings if he did not pull his crazy stunts with:
- Punching LeBum in the nut in 2016 finals
- Pissing KD off the super stacked GSW and breaking up the probably strongest team in history.
- Punching Poole in the off-season coming off the championship which Poole contributed greatly in the 2022 playoffs.

Seems like this is the one series where the Hawks actually need Trae Young

That's super rough, man. I didn't see the first game but he got yanked very quickly.
Yeah, which tells you they aren't too far from giving up on him. This is problematic for the Hawks. You have got to have your number 1 pick become something even in the weakest of the draft classes (an elite role player at bare minimum). Number 2 or 3 picks are largely forgotten when they bust but not the #1 overall picks. The stench of bust remains with them until they have an Andrew Wiggins on '22 Warrior's type of role/contribution on a title team later in their careers.
