Trade Official 2025-2026 Trade Deadline Thread

I don't care that the Spurs stayed put. There wasn't a ton they could do that was productive.

My biggest thing tbh was whether the Rockets were going to get a PG and it looks so far like they utterly failed.

There was an extremely narrow band of things the Spurs were going to do and nothing materialized.
they probably should have widened the band of things, then

because selling off their SRPs this year for cash considerations is less than suboptimal. and its not like we have tough decisions to make here. biyombo is easily somebody that can and should be waived. sochan wants out (though i wouldnt buy him out). part of the appeal of landing KO was the salary for trades. surely there was some combination of KO/Sochan and 3 second rounders that would have given us some improvement this year without committing to excessive futury salary

They had two assets they wanted to move in Olynyk and Sochan. Both of whom can still help if absolutely needed in the playoffs.

They didn't want long term contracts. They didn't want to give up first round picks.

What would they have done? Making a move just to make a move isn't the way to go.

Any reason why Indy is unloading Mathurin?
I know they wanted a center
Not watch much of him. but he's 23/24
numbers look good

OKC can get another top 10 pick for all I care. We’re about to be really good after this season ends.
