Trade Official 2025-2026 Trade Deadline Thread

I’d hate for him to go to the suns or something and come in for 3min against the spurs and hurt Wemby or Fox by being a wreck less moron
he'd improve our defense since we wouldn't have to guard him. We'd win the series easily.

All that drama and the biggest move relevant for the West playoff picture was Timberwolves getting Dosunmu?

2022 draft is officially the worst draft of all time for us. Got absolutely nothing out of it
That whole draft isn't great. You should check it out:

Chet is probably the best player of the bunch, and he's complementary. Jabari Smith isn't great, Banchero is horribly inefficient, Murray has gotten worse, Mathurin and Ivey just got traded, Shaeden Sharpe isn't that good, lots of busts. The big find was Jalen Williams and Duren has been solid. Some decent role players scattered around, but it's already looking like a not-great draft.

Fuck man, I really didn't want to go into the postseason with Sochan still on the roster. That's 14 out of 15 players trying to be united, and another one looking out the window for his next home. Just bad vibes. Smh

Champ won't be making 3 mil next season. They'll decline his option and use his bird rights to pay and extend him.
and if you want to upgrade him how do you do that? Are you miraculously trading his new 12 million salary for Trey Murphy's 30?

True, they took a non-NBA player in the lottery the year before as well. Not surprising when you put it that way.
No, I said that the whole draft was pretty bad. You're making it out like it was a good one, when it wasn't. Actually take a look at it.

It's true that there are no true franchise players, but lots of good players available. Just counting outside the lottery: Mark Williams, Tari Eason, Christian Braun, Walker Kessler, Peyton Watson, Andrew Nembhard, Jaylin Williams, Max Christie, Ryan Rollins. Spurs could have had 3 of those guys, not to mention Jalen Williams or Jalen Duren. A typical GM might get fired for fumbling 3 picks like that, though I have to admit I would have performed horrendously in that draft also.
