I don’t understand when this happens to people getting NIL of some kind
The one they're paying close attention to is when he was a redshirt freshman at Indiana and he placed a bet on one (or more) of the games there.

That would have been before he was getting any kind of real NIL money.

Would that matter? I don't know. Rich people get into gambling addictions just the same.
