Maybe, I don't know, you could be right. I've never been the best in the world at anything, so fair point, I can't comment on that perspective getting to the top. All I know is, I like to dominate/do well at whatever I do. I don't do it for awards. I just like to do it. I like that mentality. Edit : Like, another way I can put it, being the best player on the best team (even if you don't win the MVP) is good enough for me. If I know I'm better than the person that won MVP, I wouldn't lose sleep over it. I'm sure TD had that kind of perspective seeing other guys win MVP in years he won the Championship or came close, he probably considered himself the best player still.
As for D-Rob's season, I still think he probably has the MVP trophy shoved away somewhere. I wonder if anyone's ever asked him about it. Sure, he can go back and look at his teammates and coaching, but I don't think he values that MVP much at all. I could be wrong, and maybe he does have it on display.
