It's easy to compare it to its glory days and say "yeah, this sucks"...because, well, it does.

But I still get up for it. I was excited to watch the game last night (mostly cuz our guys) and will watch tonight and tomorrow. I may complain about it the whole way through, but it's still something to watch on what would otherwise be a sports-dead weekend.

At this point, it's almost entertaining to watch just to see what a shitshow it could be...like watching a bad movie.

All-Star experience will work wonders on his confidence and hopefully bring out all his potentials, his swagger, when before CB looked star-struck resulted to rushed and missed shots/dunks. I can’t wait.
 
I hope we will have a clean slam dunk contest with no props....

CB should have a high chance to win given his elite jumping ability

If I recall correctly it wasn't tournament format, just a game devided by quarters. Not quite the same, tbh.

One thing I do hate is all the over-the-top production...the musical acts, the b-list celebrities and social media influencers, Kenny yelling "ITS OVAH!" into the mic every ten fucking seconds...

Last year they literally stopped the All Star Game during play to do some awkward tribute to the Inside The NBA guys. Nice sentiment, but not in the heart of the goddamn game.

When 60% of the production is other nonsense, it's too much...just let us watch the basketball we tuned in to see.

That's why I'll watch replay with all BS cleaned away tomorrow on replay site, exactly like I did today. I am not staying up all night here in Greenwich time zone just to watch more of fucking celebs and commercials then actual action.
