NBA Kawitters Legacy taking another hit

Uncle Dennis can't escape here. Bar him from ever having contact with any NBA franchise ever again, in particular he can never either directly or indirectly be part of any ownership group.

Number Two himself signed those cap-circumventing contracts and opened up all those LLCs to launder the money through. He deserves to be suspended for a minimum of a year, and more fitting would be 3, the length of the sub-max contract he signed.

Of course the Clippers need to be punished. How about a dollar amount equal to how much they paid Number Two under the table, Number Two's contract still counts towards the cap/tax, strip the next 5 draft picks they actually own (2030 throguh 2034), and Ballmer can't attend any games for 2 years. Still insufficient given how cardinal a sin cap circumvention is and how blatantly they did it.
 
I wonder if Cuban is still so passionately defending Ballmer on this these days. Havent paid attention to that part lately.
 
My dumb punishment ideas with the understanding that the League isn't going to do shit (apologies if mentioned previously):

- Kawhi sits out two years and works full-time for the Forestry Department planting trees in isolation

- Balmer contributes several hundred million to funding the Spurs arena (so we can reallocate our tourist tax to something more helpful)

- Uncle Dennis cleans leer jet bathrooms for several years
 
:st-lol: lol I hope Silver give the hammer (if he even dare) to Balmer and LAC after this season is over...

Heard that 2027 draft is not considered a strong class like 2025 or 2026....so their 2027 pick to OKC will not be as impactful

I can't stand Kawhi but he's the last generational talent, if he could've stayed healthy this whole time, behind Wemby. Dude is a baller but screw him!

It's gonna be either Kawhi or Curry in the first most likely and Curry has handed Victor some pretty disgusting losses already so not exactly excited about seeing him either. There is no easy matchup in the west in any round.
 
I can't believe people are still scared of Curry and Leonard in a series in '26.

There's only five players who should inspire that and the Spurs have one of them.

A second Antetokounmpo, is in the East and on a team that won't so much as make the play-in.

A third, Doncic, is on a middling team who matchups up poorly with the Spurs.

That leaves the big two: Jokic and Gilgeous-Alexander.

None of the potential 1st round opponents is capable of beating a healthy Spurs in a series.
