NBA Kawitters Legacy taking another hit

Kawhi is one of, if not the most efficient scorers seen in our lifetime. The dude can flat out ball when he's on the court but he's often on the sidelines in plain clothing eating up cap space. I can only imagine how frustrated other team players are by the amount he's paid, the pampering he gets, and now more scandals surrounding him and his entourage. At the end of the day, no matter how "great" you might be, when you're on the court, means nothing when you rarely play ball and squeeze every last dime from the team and outside entities surrounded in controversy and potential illegality. He needs to be out of the league and he needs to thank his shitty uncle for his demise.

So if Kawhi's contract is voided, but he is not suspended would you want the Spurs to sign him to a 1 year minimum contract? Every team in the league will be after him if that happens.

Lol, he ain't going anywhere for minimum.

If Silver doesn't lay down the law, he's done.
When has he not? There are two franchises under new ownership, directly due to NBA investigations. The NBA has hired the exact same law firm as they did in those two instances.

He let nephew fuck us over and ruin our reputation.
2017-18 season was his first no-show job he got paid for, tbh.

More from Pablo Torre's Twitter:

As if the situation wasn't dire enough for Nephew and the Clippers, the PTFO show is rumored to have already completed work on a sequel, follow-up video investigation. It hasn't been leaked yet whether the contents of the video are a second dossier on the Nephew scandal, or if Pablo is investigating other irregularities of players' deals (rumored to be looking at Brunson and the Knicks), but it's certain to cause a whirlwind with the notoriety his first video/podcast raised.

Vindicating times for Spurs fans!

You can’t punish someone for being a dick, and having a dick uncle. That isn’t against the CBA.

Full second episode of the PTFO investigation on Kawhi and the Clippers' tampering is out now:

I'm only halfway through it, but MAN......... What a pleasure to watch and listen to. Seeing Uncle Dennis' face plastered for everyone to see is fucking amazing.

Eat shit, Nephew & Co.

He should've been suspended for refusing to show up and ghosting his employer.
The Spurs Fd up by losing patience, and telling them to manage the situation. He then went to the league sanctioned NBAPA facility. He was a shit, but nothing he did violated the CBA. It was two sets of doctors who disagreed, but you can’t quantify something like that. You can’t prove that someone is actually healthy, but dogging it.

I hate Kawhi probably more than anyone on this forum, but there was nothing actionable for Silver to do.

Well then, the CBA is way worse than I thought since I never carefully looked into that side of things.

Anyhow, he's 34, always injured and not worth the trouble anymore.
Imo, he should be suspended without pay for 2 years, the remaining duration of his contract and Clippers should have those $50M he's supposed to earn frozen in their cap space, not being able to use it.
Take away 2 or 3 of their FRPs on top of it, but that's a delicate matter since they don't own their '26 pick, OKC has '27 swap, they don't own '28 and PHI has '29 swap. Taking away 2030s picks when this situation will be long resolved would be franchise ruining to the point where they might aswell forcibly relocate the team.

Maybe take away those '27 and '29 swapped picks they'll get.

This is the smoking gun. Even Silver can’t explain away this shit.

Pablo Torre's investigative journalism is commendable. I hope the league drops the hammer on these bastards. Also hoping that this gets resolved by the ASG and it gives the Spurs a chance to climb the rankings a notch and improve their playoff chances as the Clippers are deeply damaged by the findings/conclusions.

The "other Dennis" is going to be hard to rationalize.

This has been absolutely beautiful.

You know when you have the first taste if your favorite food that you haven't eaten in a long time? That is what this story makes me feel.

Now I get to set back and watch Balmer put uncle dennis and this Wong dude down on all fours and make them take all of it prison showers style after the lights go out🥰

I don’t think Ballmer is going to be topping anyone. He’s scared shitless enough to fly to Bristol, CT for that softball interview by ESPN. Under normal circumstances, they would go to the richest owner in team sports for the interview.

The last two owners investigated by this law firm both sold their teams, one forced, and one shamed into it by the investigation.

Uncle Dennis needs to be banned from the league for all the shady crap he has been asking for throughout the years. I would imagine that would be no big deal though because other than Nephew, he doesn't represent anyone.

Pablo Torres is probably financed by OKC with how potentially enriching all this has been to those Clippers picks coming due

Thunder can't keep getting away with it /s

-suspend Leonard for any applicable cup tournament or play in or playoff game or finals game for 3 seasons; only plays reg season games
-freeze Leonard's salary into the Clip cap and they can't spend it elsewhere
-collect his pay during that time and distribute it into the players union or divide even portions to all owners or some combo
-take 3 natural FRP penalty but yeah it's not fair to penalize picks outgoing to other teams but I will hear any debate that takes OKCs away lol
-NBA money fines for Balmer, LAC org, and Leonard
-state or federal criminal charges for Dennis on embezzlement or laundering

at this point, if the league doesnt act, every owner in the league will be on notice that they can absolutely get away with this shit with impunity even in the face of incredibly strong evidence

silver's comments yesterday that even a "smoking gun" might not be enough, combined with his asinine remarks directing fans to go watch highlights on youtube in the face of ever-decreasign accessibility of games, have brought him to a new low tbh.

i wasnt big on the silver hate wagon, but he's gotta be the worst commissioner in sports right now

I may be wrong, but I think the majority of owners are hoping the Clipps get nailed on this. They don't want to see a bidding war of under the table deals on top of salaries. That and the shear egregiousness of the deal
Also at least two franchises maybe 3, would really like to see Uncle Dennis get punished
