NBA Kawitters Legacy taking another hit

He’s got two +s and one -.
What did you mean by this?

Not only that, this fucking clown has been hurt half the season came back played one game and then through his teammates under the bus talking about they need more talent.

He definitely called his wife fat everyday she was pregnant with their kids tbh

I wonder if he just misspoke and used the wrong choice of words. If not, and he literally meant what he said, I can't image him teammates being happy hearing they need to get better talent.
Maybe he was referring to himself when he said "play with better talent and see what happens." Maybe he was trying to make himself the key. Either way, really poor choice of words.

I pretty clearly explained what the two pluses and the one minus were in the rest of my post.
OK, got it. 2 FMVPs with the career scoring being the negative. I could have reread that before posting.

Edit : I wonder, if he only had the Spurs finals MVP (he wasn't the best player on that team) and combined with his career points, do you guys think he makes it based on that? The Spurs may have gotten him in there by trading him to the darn Raptors.

Interesting question.
And while nephew played awesome in the 2019 playoffs, that was incredibly lucky run by the Raptors. Semifinals beat 76ers in seven games with Embid ill for most of the series. Double overtime win against bucks- loose that and down 3-0. Beat GS, who suffered several key injuries.

Raptors got destroyed in that 76ers series when Embiid was on the court to. If he just plays 3 more minutes every game Philly wins that in 5 or 6.

This Clippers season should be made into a documentary. With lots of curb your enthusiasm music throughout.

Getting out of the Kawhi business was one of the most wholesome instances of 'blessing in disguise' in professional sports. Yes, those years (2020-2023) spent in the wilderness and on the treadmill of mediocrity were worth it if that process eventually led to where we are sitting today..I don't think one extra title with him (likely 2019) would've made up for the next half decade of injuries, organizational uncertainties along with his Uncle's baggage weighing down the whole franchise.

I watched a few Clippers games and wasn’t impressed with John Collins at all. Definitely felt like he was fulfilling his empty stats reputation. Bricking wide open 3’s consistently. He’s shooting 29% from 3 this year, and in the minutes I’ve watched, most of those seem wide open.

Maybe he’s not a guy that can do it when there’s any sort of pressure or expectation to win.

He also looks fuckin tiny out there for a 4. I know he’s like 6’8, 230, but he looked like a child physically next to Aaron Gordon earlier in the year, and just looks physically weak and soft out there.

It could just be playing a smaller role doesn’t work for him. He had a big role in ATL, then when Trae got there, his stats crashed. Fast forward to the tanking Jazz, and he’s again getting all he can eat, and looks like a borderline All Star. Now, being a smaller piece in LA, his stats again crash.

Both of you have good points and both could be right. Might not play well with pressure or expectation to win (Can't remember how he played in Atlanta's big playoff run 4 or so years ago? Anyone watch that?). If he did play well in that Atlanta playoff run, then it might just come down to what Exstatic said and not performing in a smaller role.
