To be honest I’d put Vassell with Sochan plus picks to get the right player, maybe TM3, Markkanen or JJJ. But I doubt they go for Giannis.

Trying not to get my hopes up, but I’m imagining a scenario where the Spurs can be a part of a Giannis to Knicks trade that gets us OG. The Knicks don’t have picks to trade, but we do. San Antonio could be an ideal third team and acquire the finishing piece for a championship lineup

Salary-wise they could trade:

Randle + McDaniels + Draft Capital
Randle + Reid + Dillingham + Draft Capital
Randle + DiVincenzo + Draft Capital
Randle + Conley + Dillingham + Ingles OR Jaylen Clark + Draft Capital

There's multiple avenues for Minnesota to get there that all work salary-wise and I actually think their offer could be more enticing than Miami's as Milwaukee could then flip Randle and Reid/McDaniels to another team for more picks. It's really all dependent on how much draft capital the teams are willing to give up and with that protections.

Miami's package would be centered around Andrew Wiggins + another player or two (likely Kel'el Ware) + draft capital as well.

Bringing in a third team doesn’t magically fix the fact that NY has no assets. They either need assets to send to MIL, or assets for the 3rd team, so they can send out what MIL wants.

But it would actually make sense in that trade because Hawks own Bucks future picks.

Thank God. That would open a 3 year window, after which Wembymis in the same shit place as Freak is now: aging, and no way to appreciably improve the team.

Miami could also offer Wiggins + Herro + Ware + Draft Capital and I'm sure that's what Milwaukee's asking for, but Riley would prob much rather give up more capital and keep Herro as they'd badly need the shooting around Giannis, especially since they'd be losing one of their best shooters in Wiggins.
