I agree on all grades. I would give Wemby A++++

I don’t normally give Vassell much credit but I think last night I thought he played better defense and kept the Mavs on their toes. B-

Kornet started slow but played as advertised. He plugs that rim whenever Wemby sits, and that’s one big problem last season. I think he helped AD checked and not having any big night and took any air out of the Mavs rallying back. B

Harper was very impressive on his debut. The kid is polished as a backup PG from day 1. I think he wanted to outplay Cooper on their debut game, which shows Dylan’s competitive nature. I hope he gets the same minutes when Fox gets back. A-

Mitch A+ for his rotation even playing McLaughlin which made sense taking some pressure off Dylan just a security. And allowing Wemby to get his 40 pts debut, which Pop normally would not care as much, but I think is important to Wemby’s legacy. Wemby is shooting for one of the greatest if not the GOAT

The really positive about this game is that there is room for easy improvement starting by the FTs, winning by more than 30 points missing 11 FTs is damn impressive.
Then the team had only 20 3 pts half of last year average which is even more surprising considering with mavs rim protection capacity, opponents shoot quite a lot from 3s against them (almost the double).
Also the team had a low assist % against the mavs all things considered.. only 24 assists when spurs last year usually had more than 30 per game.

If you go the dashboard link (found in any of the previous game threads or the first post in this thread) it updates every 15 minutes so long as I've done my grades (which I usually put in the database right after the game).

The write up and Grade thread I obviously need to do manually.

Hi everyone, now that we're 11 games into the season I created another view so that you can visualize player performance (as measured by the Community Grade Avg) over time.

I built this so that you can view up to 5 players at once. Right now it just defaults to the 5 players with the highest season community grade averages, but you can select any players you like. The graph looks best with only 3 selected, but I wanted to provide some extra flexibility. Just click the "Player Name" drop down and select who you want to look at. This graph can still be sliced with any of the control filters at the top of the Dashboard.
