Player BREAKING: De'Aaron Fox to Make his Season Debut Tomorrow Night vs. the Pelicans

He is though. Hence why he's been a full participant in 5-on-5 scrimmages. You think he's not ready to go but they've somehow predetermined that he's going to be ready to go in 24 hours..? :st-lol:

As posters above have mentioned, they likely just want him coming back against a bad Pelicans team rather than a good one with an elite perimeter defender like Amen.
I mentioned it a couple of days ago where I thought they might not want to bring him back against the Rockets. I also said in the same post that I thought I was wrong, though. I thought they were stringing us along. Glad to be wrong. Very happy that he's back. He is going to be awesome. If it all fits together when Dylan's back, this backcourt could be electric.

Nice - thanks for sharing. That does make it sound like the Spurs aren't expecting to be without Harper for a month+ or anything...would be great news if true.
I liked hearing that from Shams, but with a calf issue, you really think the Spurs are going to let him come back right away? I don't think they will. Hope I'm wrong on that one too and it's more minor than it looked.

Tmrw is the 8th, day 1 of week 2 of November.

Those fucking fuckers lied to us. /s

Maybe Harper is a fast healer like TP? With the thumb injury I recalled that he was going to miss the preseason and the first few games of the season, only to come back way ahead of schedule.

Finally we get to see Fox play! I bet he will make Wembys life a lot easier!

Good point. He did come back earlier than expected for that thumb injury. He very well could be TP like in that regard.

Hell yeah. I would be a bit surprised if the Spurs beat Houston tonight, but they better smash the Pelicans with Fox finally in the lineup.

Thank goodness. Not sure why the Spurs were so secretive over his injury. Don't think it was even officially acknowledged until training camp.
