I was going to post in the main Wemby thread but thought this deserved is own - mainly because:
- Despite how good the team had been without Wemby, his sustained long-term health is the one thing that is a must for this team to become the perennial contenders they have the potential to be.
- Wemby's unique physique undoubtedly leaves him now susceptible to injury from plays such as a lower body collision / trip/off -balance shove
- It's looking like it might become more of a recurrence now, with serious teams playing serious games against the Spurs - the stakes are higher
- Frankly, the last two games pissed me off with 'Dirty' Lu Dort showing multiple times what kind of a play could be a season/potential dynasty-ending moment could look like for this young team
