What are you playing right now?

Finished The Beast. Satisfying ending that leaves the game open for a sequel. Gotta say it was super obvious the entire time who the Beast was going to be though

Next up is FF7 Remake Intergrade. Never played the DLC so starting fresh

Nba2k25... I'm not getting duped into buying the new edition for the 20th yr. :)
Haven't played since 2020 😂 was the same shit copy and pasted year after year. Suppose it's improved now maybe but I don't have any desire to play anymore. Getting old I suppose 😂 not much time for gaming 🥴

cmon scrahs, join me in Dune
I tried to play Dune but could not get into it. The combat just felt so dated. Everything else seemed solid but unless they've updated the combat aspect of the game significantly I can't see myself going back

combat has evolved to the point where it is pretty modern, imo. But that's not really the crux of the game, it's an MMO, not CoD where fighting dictates everything, it's more layered. Combat escalates as you progress, but you can step in to end-tier relatively quickly. That said, if you want to try again I can hook you up with all the top level gear. It's mostly meant to be played with a crew, but if you're an introvert with no friends I understand.

Same. I play my 2k association, never online, like once every month or two. My GF has gotten more use out of my PS5 in the 2-3 yrs that I've had it playing her Cup Head game religiously.

Battlefield 6 on Xbox One. I've been mostly playing Warzone, but CoD has become more and more like Fortnite light. I've never played Battlefied before, so it's taking some time getting used to.

Just pre-ordered Arc Raiders after getting multiple "this is my GOTY" reports from friends.

I’m tempted to pull the trigger too but as of now I still don’t get the appeal after watching several videos!

If you're not an extraction shooter fan, it's probably not for you.

Generally the game is about teamwork, resource management, and risk/reward. It's PvPvE with an emphasis on the E. It's meant to create a lot of tense situations where you have to use all of your resources to problem solve on the fly to survive.

I'm enjoying 2k25 in single player mode with offline enabled (so I can't even be tempted by their stupid gambling shit).

Running a MyEra NBA which is basically removing the bullshit GM RP stuff that is super annoying, and with some custom sliders to make gameplay more realistic it's a pretty solid sim. Wemby is a 98 in his 3rd year, 1st in MVP voting, Spurs are 50-10 and just rolling over teams. My roster is fox/vas/castle/sochan/wemby have and Harper, Christie, Julian, and Mitchell Robinson with D'Angelo Russell in to play spot minutes for 3 point shooting, but he sucks despite his 82 rating so he's getting cut for sure after this season. Barnes and Keldon are long gone in trades.

Checking out the Outer Worlds 2 since it's free on game pass. The first one was kinda mediocre but I've heard this one is a big improvement and closer to Fallout New Vegas Obsidian vs the first game
