Player The restricted-age video store section of Dylan Harper

Complete package tbh. Once the stepback is consistent, sky is the limit.

Very impressive start.
The ball handling is elite.
I like him hitting the spot up 3. That’s going to be important if he can keep it up. I mentioned pre-draft that his spot up 3% was solid enough in college to make me think he can potentially start next to Fox at some point.

I can't get over how lucky we are to add Dylan Harper to this team. I haven't seen a moment yet that has led me to believe he'll be anything less than advertised. It seems like he has no more difficulty against NBA defenders than he did against college ones. The game already looks slowed down for him and it's only his second pro game.

The kid deserves a nickname ..something like D-Smooth. You watch him and the word Smooth keeps ringing. Best draftee barring Wemby in a decades, I think.

I'm trying to have reasonable expectations for him BUT not gonna lie I'm excited as fuck, he is so smooth. This franchise is blessed Victor and Harper for the next 10 years... yes please

Guy is like Harper only 19 but his takes are better then those of many veteran you-tubers.
I just watched it and agree 100% with what you said. Very well done job on that video. He broke down plays and explained what Dylan's been doing out there, and as a lot of posters here at BB can see, Dylan might not be scoring 25 pts and dishing 8 assists, so it's probably not catching the attention of the casual fans, but he's definitely playing well. I might have to take a look at some more of this kid's videos. He did a great job on this one.

Said it before the draft so this isn't just an overreaction to 2 preseason games...but there's a legitimate chance that rookie Harper > sophomore Castle. Not trying to start a player war and I'm thrilled to have both them but just think it's funny that people were ready to trade the #2 pick because we already have Castle.

Wouldn't surprise me if he forces his way into the starting lineup with his play before long, but either way he has the potential to make a huge impact this year. Harper/Kornet PnRs vs. opposing 2nd units could feed families.

He has a bit of manu and a bit of Tony... I loved to see dat all around the world drives to dish out a pass for open 3, he creates contacts, he is fast and has a great vision... man I'm in love tbh (no homo)

Like I said when he was drafted, if he's good enough, he should have the attitude to not take a back seat to anyone on the offensive side of the ball (even Victor). If he proves to be good enough, he should just play his game out there and not defer to anyone. Whether that's play-make or score, no need to take a back seat. No-one on this team has proven to be a 1A option yet on a contender (I expect Victor to, and very soon at that, but point is, he doesn't done it yet), so if he shows he's at that level and can do it sooner than later, that's what his attitude should be. Don't worry about stepping on anyone's toes.

Harper ceiling is much higher than Castle tbh... I would not be surprised if rookie Harper is better than Soph Castle, actually I think it will be the case

Nothing to complain about with Harper at this point. Superb player already. He plays within the flow of the game so well. I wasn't expecting to see him navigate screens, switch and communicate on D so early. He and CB11 are great with screens. Harper is a complete luxury as a 2nd unit point guard. He and Kornet are huge upgrades over the last several seasons.

id have Harper ahead of Cade at this point, projection-wise. There’s something freaky about this guy. He sees things different and moves different. He’s probably better than castle today but I don’t mind him coming in off the bench to feast on 2nd units.
