I think he can be a combination of Harden, Manu, and Kyrie. He has the elite ball handling and slashing skills. All he needs is to have a consistent jump shot. If he can do that then we are talking about him also being an MVP level player in the future.Another great, steady game from him tonight - I'm already growing used to expecting the rookie PG to play a floor general role
Had one very audacious lob/deep entry pass that I thought was totally ill advised and surely stripped, but hit the mark with precision. The kid is just special, a bit like Doncic in that you can see that supernatural hand/eye coordination that lets them "have the ball on a string". He just goes downhill, jumps, and figures it out, and it goes in every time lol.
Now imagine a few years of getting mentored by Manu off-court and Fox on it, and having to go against Wemby in practice.....![]()
MVP chants could get a little awkward at home games.I think he can be a combination of Harden, Manu, and Kyrie. He has the elite ball handling and slashing skills. He wasn’t needed to do much but us constantly having Fox, castle, Harper on the floor is devastating. Just wave after wave of guys attacking the basket. Defenses can’t take a breath
Laker fans would chant MVP all the time during the 3 peat years when Kobe and Shaq were at the free throw line. I don't see it being any different than that if Harper gets to being an MVP level player. You will just hear multiple MVP chants for both Victor and him during home games. He wasn’t needed to do much but us constantly having Fox, castle, Harper on the floor is devastating. Just wave after wave of guys attacking the basket. Defenses can’t take a breath
Also Vassell...............a quaternity of attacking optionsHe wasn’t needed to do much but us constantly having Fox, castle, Harper on the floor is devastating. Just wave after wave of guys attacking the basket. Defenses can’t take a breath

That pass was actually relatively low risk. I saw a breakdown of that play. It was an extended fast break, where Keldon had done the Shaq seal. The rest of the team had run to spaces around the arc. Keldon’s seal had created a space about 6 feet wide along the baseLine, from sideline to sideline. There was a ton of room, both depth wise, and laterally, to throw that pass in. Dylan also didn’t fall into the trap of trying to pinpoint the pass to Keldon’s spot. Doing that increases the likelihood of it being picked off. He led Keldon to the baseline. In NFL announcer parlance, he threw it where only his guy could catch it. Once Keldon hauled it in, it was over. No like sized player is stopping that move to the rim, and shot off the glass.Another great, steady game from him tonight - I'm already growing used to expecting the rookie PG to play a floor general role

Where's that GIF of Vince McMahon falling out of his chair??I think he can be a combination of Harden, Manu, and Kyrie. He has the elite ball handling and slashing skills. Oh, do you have the video of the breakdown by chance? I immediately thought "wow I'd love to see that play again" when it happened, but didn't make a note of the game time when it happenedThat pass was actually relatively low risk. I did look for it, but didn’t find it just now. If I do, I’ll post it.Oh, do you have the video of the breakdown by chance? I immediately thought "wow I'd love to see that play again" when it happened, but didn't make a note of the game time when it happened
It honestly looked almost like an accidental pass at first, but after the catch it became obvious just how much space there was; a testament to Harper's passing abilities... Yeah, catching at that distance from the rim it's game over, Keldon was either scoring or getting fouled during a shot attempt. A really heads-up play from the true "PG of the future" for the Spurs!
Interviewer: "Manu, we have little time but wanted to ask: You're working with the franchise, contributing to the Spurs' present. Which player from this brilliant current roster—who started strong—do you identify with most when watching them train and play?"Hope someone translates this
Has a rookie ever won sixth man?
STUDHe didn't score much in this game but he had a Jason Kidd like game with this 10 assists and 5 steals and 0 turnovers.
