i think we should start "Church of Castle" and "Church of Harper" threads. no fancy names, just keep it classicwho of y'all dickheads started the whole Parker vs. Manu thing back in the day? Because that's exactly what's about to happen here regarding these 2. Y'all just can't help it

I think everyone should have to answer a Castle-Harper question and pick a side.i think we should start "Church of Castle" and "Church of Harper" threads. no fancy names, just keep it classic
Yeah, they're basically the same generation, just year and a half apart, while there was a 6 year gap and cultural differences between Tony and Manu.I think the international aspect of France Vs Argentina added fire to the fuel for Parker and Manu.
I think Tony also did not hang out much with Manu off the court. Recalled that Manu was much closer to Boris, Tiago and Patty.
Harper has been saying that he has hanging out with Castle with off court activities as he believed that off the court friendship will help on court chemistry
True, Harper is a lot in advance even in terms of efficiency and overall fundamentals.I don't think there is much debate about ceiling tbh... if you compare year 1 Harper and year 1 Castle it is not even close. The fact Harper is already playing at 19 y/o like a seasonned NBA vet is crazy, his talent is off the chart, all comes easy to him and it will just get better with time. He has a feel for the game that is not commun at his age. I'm a fan of Castle don't get me wrong but Harper has a Harden with good defense potential tbh
I haven't see one post opposing them, not one...i think we should start "Church of Castle" and "Church of Harper" threads. no fancy names, just keep it classic
Agreed.Trying to set these players against each other. You people are psychos.
he's probably chillin with Milutinov and Hangahow quickly they forget about Juan Núñez.
Once they start spending half of their posts shitting on Castle and acting like Castle needs to step back to give Harper more opportunity, then that's a different story.I don't think there is much debate about ceiling tbh... if you compare year 1 Harper and year 1 Castle it is not even close. Harper looks amazing, but to be fair, he's stepped into a much better situation than Steph did in his rookie season. Steph had to help try and turn around a losing culture as a rookie. Both are playing great and I'm not willing to put a ceiling on either one right now.Agree with this......Castle sometimes forces shots just to create momentum for him and the Spurs.....whereas Harper exercises restraint

reading ain't your strong suit I seeI haven't see one post opposing them, not one...
This TP - Manu comp is stupid and it's not surprising it comes from Drunkford again
Harper is just a much more skilled player and that’s no slight to castle, as castle just wills his moves to reality, which is another type of strength.
I’m just glad both are on the spurs. Harper with his skills and vision, castle with his strength and will, fox with his quickness and experience and all three have great IQ and are unselfish. Hope they grow into the best backcourt the league has ever seen.
