Player The restricted-age video store section of Dylan Harper

The concern of course is that this is the same thumb he had surgery on in September that had him miss training camp/some preseason. Hopefully this issue or aggravation isn't necessarily related to that. Am I correct to assume the Spurs technically don't have to provide any injury updates until Saturday evening in advance of game 1 on Sunday night?

It is somewhat encouraging that Tom Orsborn mentioned Dylan was a participant in practice today, but even that *could* be misleading. He didn't witness it so who knows to what extent that is actually true. Either way, if it was something serious I would expect it would have leaked or been outright announced by now at least.

not great tbh

hopefully we win that series quick to get more rest
I mean what the hell, your hands are gonna get hit all the time. This is the same thumb he had an issue in the offseason? And yet 1 hit and he’s hurt? That’s quite concerning IMO.

Oof. Hopefully it’s not one of those things where we find out it was more serious than they let on after the season is over tbh. Hope the shot isn’t too affected or the handle.

I mean his hand got hit throughout the season not just that one time against Denver. Bad luck is all

Coach says he's gonna play and report says he participated in practice.
You guys are fretting all too much for something most probably no biggie.

My best guess is this is less severe than Manu’s broken arm back in the day. Harper should be fine. Basketball is a contact sport if my sources are correct.

This guy is the actual true x-factor for the Spurs this playoffs imo. Wemby's going to Wemby, Castle's going to provide great POA defense and contribute in different ways, Fox will hopefully have a few high scoring games sprinkled in between attacking play.

But I can just see this guy going on a tear for 3-4 minutes at a time and completely swinging the outcome of a few playoff games by going to the rim non-stop.

My secret hope is that Mitch unleashes his Harper-Castle-Vassell-Champ-Wemby lineup at some point this playoffs which has played a suspiciously low amount of minutes this season in spite of the fact that it makes so much sense, making me think that he might be holding it as a trump card of sorts

I'll be very happy if we get at least a Speedy Claxton type of performance from him off the bench this playoffs but I feel he's going to do even better.
