Player The restricted-age video store section of Dylan Harper

Fox is the fastest player I’ve ever seen dribble. Is TP considered ahead?
Maybe a little bit.

But the huge difference TP had on others was his gears, his ability to go fast then slow down then accelerate all while changing directions made him impossible to guard at times (especially when his J was "on" and whether they went under or over the screen didn't matter)

It's more difficult to guard than pure speed and also less dangerous for your body.

There were some really, really positive off-ball signs from Harper. Definitely looks like a more feasible off-ball option than a lot of highly touted on ball prospects, which is obviously going to be important when Fox is back.

All the other shit he really has in spades, no doubt he will make a top tier on ball player in the future.

He started off the game a little shaky, but he quickly got under control and by the end of the game, I thought he played well IMO. He went back to his normal playing with poise after a bit of a rough start. Definitely looks like a cool customer out there which is great to see.

Both, him and Flag will be great NBA players soon, obviously first real game with all national TV hype applied a lot of pressure especially for Cooper playing new position on the top of expectations. In a second half they were clearly better, guys started to adjust. I wouldn't call Cooper overhyped too soon. He'll be good. Both were playing the hardest position for rookies - PG

Dylan is the real deal
Yep. The kid was smooth as silk. I pay no attention at all to college stuff so anything out of him or Cooper I admit I know nothing about. But damn, Dylan looked like a smooth operator, a vet where the game doesn't rush him too much. He was impressive

Cooper was put in a bad spot by Jason Kidd to be playing PG in his first NBA game. I don't believe kid helped him at all by doing that. If Kidd wanted to try that, he should have at least let him get his feet wet and start the season in his natural position. I am guessing Kidd wants to make him see the floor better by playing point guard to open up the game for him so he can see other aspects of the game, but overall, Cooper shouldn't be running the point and passing the ball to guys he's better than. They should be passing him the ball. He most likely would have had a much better game if he was played in his natural position that made him the number 1 pick.

Harp drives with such ease. Can't believe we've so quickly gone from Tre, Wesley, Branham, to what we've got now.

I think that rough start was just nerves.

flag is a joke

HARPER RULESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
Flag i believe was playing out of position, I'm sure we'll see him improve. And he won't always be guarded by our Tenacious Defense.

But of course if Harper pans out to be the better player my goodness, the Spurs wouldn't know what to do.

it’s interesting to see Harper’s mannerisms. His dad famously overcame turrets syndrome and had a twitchy kind of affect. Harper seems similar. Being a little bit of a twitcher myself I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s been obsessed as shit about basketball his whole life. Like some kids like trains or whatever.
