Huge blow for Suns. Play-in race going to be a dogfight for positioning between PHX, GSW, Clippers and Blazers.. Spurs won't know their prospective first round opponent until the last moment..

Gotta say major kudos to the Suns. They looked completely lost and would be horrible for ages and they pulled it out. Year has already been phenomenal for them.

Dallas was perfectly built around Luka. Lakers didn’t have the infrastructure yet but couldn’t turn down that deal

the problem is Wizards Jordan 2.0 needs to retire he's holding that team back.

Adam Silver sucks. They should have cut out that covid era play-in crap years ago.

What is this years NBA hairbrained scheme for #1 overall seed in the Finals?
Still the 2-3-2 nonsense?

Okc was up 20 in the first half but Cleveland has come all the way back

They were up 23 at one point. On a random thought I believe it is the last year where somebody compares victor and Chet tbh.. victor was right since the beginning, they are not in the same conversation at all in offense and defense

would have been a monster 3 by Mitchell there but Mobley blowing the wide open look about 30 seconds ago was the big one

I'm happier that Denver lost than bothered about OKC winning - I'd rather put more distance to secure the #2 seed than hope for OKC to slow down (Morey, you fucking idiot, gifting them yet another valuable young shooter...).

ATL also won though, mixed results tonight

Portland would be the most ideal first round for us. Warriors would be the worst, unless wolves get 7th.
Tough call between whether Golden State or the Clippers would be worst, assuming Minnesota doesn't drop to 7. I have just accepted any matchup in the west is going to be difficult.

Net positive today even with OKC winning.

Lakers, Nuggets, and Wolves all losing tbh

I don't wanna get too carried away, but really feels like the Spurs are the only team on or close to OKC level/tier (metrics bear that out). It is just the lack of experience that is preventing me from penciling us in WCF (could see Spurs-Hornets '08 type of series where Denver out-veteran us in Game 7 at home even though Spurs look like the slightly better team throughout the series)
