Caruso with elite level d but dort was literally holding the hell out of Lawndale to prevent him from going around

so Cissoko (13 pts, 2/2 3pt, +26,) is now a player :st-lol: .Spurs shooting coach should have been fired ages ago,tbh

- Nice two games cushion considering our coming brutal stretch.
- Wolves lowkey might be a contender for second seed, too. One reason for that is they have been the second healthiest team this season. Huge two games against them this week
- The Suns are actually good!
- The Blazers (easiest remaining schedule) will be a tough competition for the Clippers' and their play-in hopes.
- Memphis will slide and Mavs are foolish if they don't rev up the tank after the AD news..

^^ one of the reason Spurs remaining schedule has registered among the highest in strength for quite a bit is the staggering amount of games we have against the Top teams in the West. Schedule makers have been unkind to us.

OKC (5 games)
Denver (4 games)
Houston (4 games)
Lakers (4 games)
Wolves (3 games)
Suns (4 games)
Warriors (4 games)

That's your lock Top 8 in the West. Only spared 1 game vs Minny.

I honestly prefer this "iron sharpens iron" approach over a cakewalk schedule with possibly better seeding. The Spurs aren't really yet in "win-now" mode like the Timberwolves might be, it's not about maximizing the RS wins for them.

Getting plenty of games against good opposition while the team is still trying to figure out how to work with Wemby on offense, and find itself on defense, is great. Also allows the FO to see how players do in these big games before the trade deadline.......

Also, Rockettes are on fraud watch and shouldn't be feared. Fakers along with them. I'm more concerned about playing the Suns than either of them :st-lol:

It's all gravy to me at this point, so long as we stay generally healthy. The team exceeded my expectations by quite a lot, and I thought they'd be a top 6 team in the west this year. They're still close to falling into the playin, that's how tight everything is, but at this point getting experience of closing games, keeping rough games tight, that sort of thing is the goal, and they're doing really well. Even playing well without Wemby, which I didn't expect.

Early game and the Wolves are leading the Cavs at half. Be a good start to the day if Cleveland could end Minny’s 4 game win streak.

Wolves own our souls, better avoid them at all cost, (Ant hitting Castle with the "too small" sign is microcosm of this matchup lately :st-lol:)
That shit was straight up disrespectful tbh. I would've swung on him tbh

Looking decently likely that we lose + OKC/Denver/Minnesota/Houston/Atlanta all win. Pretty much worst case scenario for today :st-lol:

lol Ant was careful with that too small gesture as well. He did not really bend down. I guess maybe he was afraid he might trip himself like the other guy :st-lol:

At least the Rockets seem to be broken. (losing to the Kings twice) :st-lol:

Udoka can't coach an offense, tbh (should be all over CP3, it can't get worse than this)

Yeah rockets loss is good. Let’s lock up the SW division, please!
Something about KD and bad vibes following him everywhere he goes that i can't put my finger on..I honestly think we dodged a bullet by not going after him. Our team is young, flawed, and mistake-prone, but they are close together and playing hard even on off nights..I haven't seen one single 'quitting' moment or frustration boiling over on the bench among teammates.

People eat his antics up. He’s too obnoxious for my taste and still hasn’t accomplished shit when it matters.
Been to the WCF twice, including after defeating the at-the-time defending champs in game 7 on their homecourt tbh.

Schedule until the all-star break.
After the inevitable loss in OKC on Tuesday, that is.

Have to win those two home games and then we have an easier stretch with 5 winnable games and 2 key games against the Rockets. We need to win at least one in Houston.
Then again easier Mavs games and another chance to put down a direct seeding rival, this time in LA.

I expect something like 11-4 including the upcoming OKC loss if we're to stay in the second seed at the break.
