May as well sit wemby vs Dallas and save him for Denver. Which game we play Vic in doesn’t matter for us, but beating Denver can be a bonus side effect of playing him then.

Give him a few days off following the initial rib injury and then let him play Sunday

True. Would be a statement to send the Nuggets to the four seed if they play everyone while the Spurs sit Wemby (and prolly Castle) tbh.
For Denver, it will come down to how much they fear that Wolves match-up. Even though they've struggled lately, that team is built for the playoffs and has a scary ceiling when everything is clicking. I think Nuggets will beat them but it will take a lot out of them (6-7 games). That's risky especially when you have too many guys with history of soft tissues injuries (Murray, Gordon and now Watson)

This is what the Spurs will do imo.

I'd just play Wemby tomorrow and sit him in the corner for 20 mins tbh. If he feels good for Sunday and the game matters play him, but better to ensure he gets game 65 in a meaningless game.

May as well let him do that vs Denver with additional time off from the initial injury

More worried about Wemby getting competitive against Jokic and letting instinct cloud the bigger picture. You know he's gonna see him and wanna show him up :st-lol:

well hes gonna have to if we need to win it if we have a chance to avoid them in the second round.

Even if that game ends up mattering I'd still sit Wemby tbh. That said, I have a hard time seeing the Lakers win out which is what it would take unless Denver loses tomorrow and the Rockets win.

Assuming Wemby plays tomorrow I doubt they play him Sunday tbh.
I think its the other way around. Wemby will not play tonight against the mavs and play sunday for the season finale on national tv.

Spurs can beat the mavs even without wemby and castle. Spurs need wemby and castle to beat a full squad Denver. Unless they sit jokic on sunday.

Nuggets sub reddit talking about the different seeding scenarios and their preferences.

Majority of comments favouring them dropping to 4th to get OKC earlier and avoid the Minny matchup.

:st-lol: they really look down on the Spurs. I'd pick them in a 7-game series since they were my early-season prediction to win the title (and still are fully healthy), but they act like the Spurs don't have the same advantages as the Thunder. I mean shit, they say the Spurs' weakness is their lack of depth; they have as great of a rotation 1-10 as anyone.

Spurs doesnt have the playoff experience though.

Not as a unit, but they have plenty of guys with big game experience; Wemby played in the gold medal game against team USA and Castle won a national title at UConn on top of what Barnes/Kornet/Fox/Okynyk/McLaughlin/Biyombo have done. I'm not as worried about the team in playoff games as I am about bad matchups like the Suns/T'Pups/Nuggets tbh.

Olympics and college championship is way way different from a playoff 7 game series.

Agreed, but I'm not worried about the moment being too big for them. Again, the matchup problems worry me the most. If the Spurs are able to get to the WCF and they're healthy I'll legit favor them to win it all.

Wemby scored 26 in the gold medal game which wasn't a blowout against a way better team than anything he'll face in the playoffs.
That was after his rookie season. I've got no worries about him delivering.

The only realistic concerns are if Fox/Castle/Harper hit their 3s and if the role players can maintain their current level.

We'll see. I feel there's a big chance they lose in the 2nd round or even 1st round (if they play the suns) than reaching WCF.

I'm Denver: Minnesota, Spurs, OKC. O escoger el otro camino: Lakers o Rockets, OKC, Spurs. Prefiriria el segundo camino.una ronda fácil y asegurar Semis. Si al final te enfrentarás a Spurs y OKC es solo escoger el orden.
