So Denver wraps up the 3 with a win tomorrow? Or do the Lakers still have a shot?
DEN owns the tiebreaker over HOU, but LAL own the tiebreaker over DEN, so the Nuggs would need to lose both of their remaining games (against OKC & us) and then have the Lakers win 2 of their 3 remaining games against GSW, PHX, and UTA. That's a tough ask for this Lakers team that is dog-shit without Luka or Reaves on the floor tbh. But not impossible. Gonna be a fun finish to the season.

I did not realize HOU has won 8 straight... has there ever been a playoffs with the Top 4 teams as hot as OKC/SAS/DEN/HOU?

2016 tbh. Dubs, Spurs, and Thunder were great all season and the Clips won 10 of 12 coming in (would've been 11 in a row but they rested everyone the last game of the season).

Hotels are stupidly cheap in OKC for Late May. We should invade that arena in the WCF and make it Spurs north. Also, I'd recommend using I-35W through Fort Worth, less traffic substantially than I-35E through Dallas.

Let's all book rooms with a free cancellation by certain date and cancel if necessary. But it makes sense to buy now while these hotel room rates are so stupidly cheap:

It really gonna come down to that final Denver game. Can't wait to see how both teams approach it.

Eh, it's gonna look just like the last game of the 2007 regular season, also against Denver.

Yeah sure we won the championship that year, but going to that game (we were pretty broke at that point, I was 13) as that was my delayed birthday present and it was a big fat stupid dumpy waste of money. Stupid Popovich.

The highlight of that game as an in-arena spectator was when the jumbotron flashed in the second quarter to the Big 3 all sitting together having popcorn and pizza in street clothes with the "Thuggets" up by like 14 points early in the second quarter.

Spurs are nit guarantee to make it to WCF

And neither is OKC, they could lose to a fully healthy Minnesota squad in the second round if say Ant-man goes nuclear, but ya might as well get prepared

Like I say, avoid the "non refundable" rooms and only buy rooms with free cancellation, typically it's within a day or two of check-in date

Plus, as a bonus that specific time of year in the OKC area, you might get lucky and get to tornado chase as a side hobby

Lakers need to win tomorrow against the Suns to make it interesting. Wonder if LeBron plays tbh.

Lakers own tiebreakers over both Denver and Houston (head to head) and also in a 3-way tie (division winner), their next 2 games are Phoenix (already set at 7, no Booker) and Utah (will score in their own hoop if they have to) so with OKC shamelessly throwing away their next game (may field fans the way it's going), it'll be up to the Spurs to send Denver to the other half of the bracket in their last game. A taste of the playoffs, one game in advance.

Bare in mind Jokic like Victor if at 64 games so he needs to play in one of the last two games at least for 20 mins

Lakers have no choice but to go for it in hope home court can buy Doncic's extra time before a potential return by game 3 or 4 (doubt it).

Lakers will prob get smoked tomorrow night against PHX tbh. Lebron doesn't normally play b2b's either. Would love to be wrong though. Games doesn't start til 9:30pm CST.
Last game of the regular season for LeBron (don't need him vs Utah) and a chance to take back the reins after Luka took over. I don't think he wants to miss it.

With the Lakers winning tonight they'll prolly play everyone tomorrow and leave the regular rotation at home for the Spurs game.

I honestly just want to see how the Spurs would approach Sunday if they have a chance to knock the Nuggets to 4th tbh. I don’t even care about the opponents that much
:st-lol:
