Will the Spurs get HCA in the '25-26 Playoffs?

Warriaors (locked in 10th + no Curry)
Suns (locked in 7th)
Jazz (tanking)

It is very doable. Spurs might have an interesting decision for the league finale (National TV game).
If it comes down to it, I'm in camp "let's get another crack at Denver before the playoffs"..

Gordon, Jokic and Murray all questionable tomorrow v. OKC... could DEN be looking to duck MIN?

DEN owns the tiebreaker over HOU, but LAL own the tiebreaker over DEN, so the Nuggs would need to lose both of their remaining games (against OKC & us) and then have the Lakers win 2 of their 3 remaining games against GSW, PHX, and UTA. That's a tough ask for this Lakers team that is dog-shit without Luka or Reaves on the floor tbh. But not impossible. Gonna be a fun finish to the season.

Tbh it does make more sense for Denver to get the 4th seed. They probably view OKC as the biggest challenge and I’m assuming they’d like to get into that series as fresh as possible instead of slugging it out against the spurs in the second round.

For them they know spurs and OKC are in their path one way or another, so just a matter of what order they’d prefer.

That’s wild. Honestly not that surprising. Denver knows Minny will take them to 6 or 7 grueling games. Not sure Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson could even get through that series healthy.

I rekon the nuggets may rest their guys against the Spurs and get themselves to the 4 seed.
