Will the Spurs get HCA in the '25-26 Playoffs?

Lakers schedule the rest of the way. They might* be able to beat DAL and UTA without Luka. Doubt they can beat GS with Curry back but it's possible. They'll obv lose to OKC and PHX too now.

They've been playing him near 40 minutes for a month now. Extremely high usage for a guy with his injury/conditioning history. Straight up malpractice by the organization tbh.
 
why do we want Lakers on our side? they aren't beating timbers or denver, so if they go 4/5 they give OKC a rested opponent , win win. I would say the priorities would be keeping denver out of our bracket than timby woolve , if possible rbing stank ass houston to clown on. lakers are getting 5vd in the first round.
 
that was horrible from jj, it was clear he was injured in the first quarter.. you don't just walk off a hamstring...
 
Spurs won't be ducking anybody tbh. They just need to play their regular game against Denver and let chips fall where they may.

If the Thunder tank their game against Denver, that'd be hilarious tbh. Let 'em show their ass. :st-lol:

Pathetic job coaching the Lakers to a playoff L last year. Was very winnable series.
I'm baffled why he got invited back.
 
Looks like the Wolves are officially tanking for the Lakers 3-6 seed match-up.. Their gambit is that Denver won't be able to catch LAL due to their tough schedule (X2 Spurs, 1 OKC games remaining with both in a tight Top Seed race). No way Doncic will be available for at least the first 3-4 games of the series and even that will be too optimistic. (Expect the league to stretch out this series dates)

Luka is done and not playing. The Lakers are not going to risk his future for this season knowing they don’t have any chance to win the championship anyway.

LeBron is gone this off-season.

And

They will do what they do which is try to get the league office to give them a superstar in the off-season for a Diet Coke and a bag of chips. In truth, they are one of many teams that can go and get Giannis now. With all the injuries and turning 32 years old next year, the asking price has plummeted.

I am actually ok with this. Wemby will be pissed. He will make sure the rest of the team is pissed.

Also, IMO, Wemby is the MVP. However, I would strategically not be upset if SGA won it. It would really piss of Wemby, especially in the WCF. He would have to watch the free throw merchant hoist his trophy. He would have the same fire Olajuwon did when he felt slighted by DRob winning it. He would feel like Vince Young when Reggie Bush erroneously won the Heisman.

Wemby will be a man possessed and the rest of the roster will follow.
