I had a feeling the Sixers game would be a sneaky tough one for us and it's starting to look that way with Embiid and PG back healthy and playing well for them. We'll be coming off the game in Denver as well. Thankfully it's a home game for us but I fully expect it to be a battle tbh, especially with Embiid's incessant flopping and foul-baiting.

More "tough" games the better. There's nothing to be gained from all these Ws against tanking teams (I don't really care about the 1 seed that much). I just want them ready for the playoffs tbh.

Yeah, I felt that Suns game was a good tough test in between instead of just having 2 straight weeks of 20-point blowouts. I'm glad we are still in this number 1 race allowing us to keep the intensity and focus high unlike the Rockets last season who went into the playoffs undercooked after clinching the second seed and resting starters for last 3-4 games. With the added Play-in week off for top seeds, having something to play for until the last Sunday of the season is probably much more beneficial at this point.

Out of topic question. Does NBA show playoff games live on league pass?
If it is like previous years the TV partners (Prime, NBC/Peacock and ESPN/ABC will show all games except for a handful in the 1st round that will be on NBA TV. The games should show up on League Pass vod the next day.

This is a new media deal though so we’ll see.

Just noticed we finish the regular season with a 4-game home stand. Sweet.

vs Bulls
@Warriors
@Clippers
@Nuggets ... will this be for win 60?
vs Sixers
vs Blazers
vs Dallas
vs Nuggets
If OKC loses 1 of the next 2 games in this back to back, they have coming up against New York and Detroit still got a shot. We gotta keep the pressure on. Stay focused.

I want live telecast. So my league pass subsciption is useless in the playoffs?

Which one is cheaper subscribing to espn/prime and peacock or just get a cable? Because eeven if i get cable i still need to subscribe to prime and peacock to be able to watch some games atlest in the first two rounds.

i agree and i think we've overhyped this team a bit based on how far they've exceeded our expectations tbh. i still see some problems and i'm not at all confident about the playoffs right now. i think this team is going to get punched in the mouth and the true test will be how they respond to that

Be on the watch for Peacock "Plus" vs straight up Peacock.
Plus means they want more of your Plus $$$.
It's not a lot more but be prepared.
"Plus" will add a lot more games, or rather it did in the reg season.
Peacock Straight (that's what i call it) not Peacock Plus shows generally only the shitty games and very few Spurs games.
Pretty sure it's the same dynamic with Amazon Prime. Shitty games? Free. Good games? Extra $.

I get a package deal with a funk ton of apps included. But all the "Plus" type feature to the apps is extra. Just not that important to me to add to NBA owners and players bil and millionaire status.

We should start a TV thread.

Good question on Playoffs.

This is some greedy move from the NBA. In the past i only need cable to watch most of national televised games. Now i need cable+ 2 streaming platform subscriptions to watch nba games especially in the playoffs where all games are national televised.

While all 20 teams set now the last 8/9 games left (depending on team) is all about jocking for playoff seeding and play-in seeding

Damn those 6ers unis are nice

The fuck? Those are hideous :st-lol: When I saw your comment, I thought you were talking about the early 2000's AI unis they've been rocking this season. Now, those are nice.
Nah I like them in a punky Brewster way

X has been straight up cancer since they dropped the MVP ladder lol. The Spurs hate has been full force. Most of it coming from OKC, Houston, and LA fans.

I’d love to play Houston second round but I think they’ll lose 1st round, unfortunately.
