Will the Spurs get HCA in the '25-26 Playoffs?

Think the Spurs would take 6-7 to beat the first three and could see them losing to Denver or Minny, but I think Houston goes 5 max. Spurs figured out that matchup with the Rockets' current roster situation tbh.
I’m pretty sure I saw a 100% serious tweet that Tari Eason hasn’t made a jumper in the month of March…our luck that fucker would regress to the mean just in time for a 2nd round matchup with us :st-lol:

OKC will be the only team that has an easy first round matchup regardless of who they play. Smh the West is so packed. Then you look out East and there's a huge drop-off after the top 4/Cleveland. What a joke of a conference.
Suns/Clips won't be a cakewalk for either the Spurs or Thunder tbh, assuming health obviously.

Gonna be interesting down the stretch to see how far the Rockets fall. It's possible they end up in the play-in tbh.

for anyone who still has hopes about the 1 seed, Cade's injury means OKC hardest game left on their schedule just got a lot easier
5-2 is the Pistons record without Cade.
Dk who they played for context.

Regardless myself I've conceded #1 seed to the Foul Princess.

They're 4 games ahead of the Suns with like 12 to go. Phoenix isn't actually healthy either. Doubt Houston falls that far tbh.

Was it 2015 when the Spurs lost the last game to New Orleans* and fell from 3rd to 6th in the WC standings in one fell swoop; then lost to the Clippers in the first round in seven?

Was that also the year they got stuck on the runway leaving NO for a playoff game in LA the next night?

Don't get cute trying to finagle a match-up. Just play hard while catching as much rest for key players as possible. Control what you can.

*And Monty Williams got fired by NOP, anyway.

Blazers take out the T – pups. The Nuggets down 10 to Raps midway through the third. Minnesota and Houston are tied with 27 L’s and Denver is at 28 L’s. I’m glad we took out Phoenix last night because one of those teams might have slipped to seven if the Suns were healthy.

Thunder fans are really similar to Celtics fans to me. Extremely needy, constantly need people to talk about their team all the time, get upset when they don't, and don't actually know much about basketball when you get down to it. Annoying as hell.
At least Celtics fans can claim titles in the modern era and are a historical team

The fuck does OKC have other than last year and a failed big 3. They were all mavs fans before 2008

Got to hit the panic button if you are a Nuggets fan. This team doesn't look the part of a true contender (been 3 months now) and it might be too late to get it together. Winning 3 series without HCA in the West is a tough ask

Factoring in health (Ant, Curry, Kawhi), current form and schedule, i think this is the likely order of the West Top 10:

(1) OKC
(2) Spurs
(3) Lakers
(4) Rockets
(5) Nuggets
(6) T'Wolves
(7) Suns
(8) Blazers
(9) Clippers
(10) Warriors

Not a bad bracket for the Spurs.
