Lakers have two games left against the Thunder. If they can win those two then consider me Jack fn Nicholson tbh.

Adam Silver is most likely getting a couple of ratings bonanza series for his new network partners .. Spurs-Lakers, Spurs-OKC, Lakers-OKC on the cards

Excited for lakers vs spurs 2nd round match up tbh

imagine Wemby beating lebron luka and the lakers in the playoffs? That would be great start for a wemby era.

I could see Minny, Houston and Denver all angling to play the Lakers in the first round too. Should be a fun finish to the regular season.

I look at Houston and I'm reminded how difficult it is to put together a legit contender without a superstar in his prime. Years of tanking haven't yielded them one, and that's the crux of the issue. As flawed as Lakers are, their path is much clearer with Luka.

To all the people here wishing for a lakers vs spurs 2nd round matchup.( including myself). Be Careful what you wish for tbh. Luka can elevate his game into an all time great level in the playoffs(like 2024 playoffs) and carry the lakers to the finals.

Meh, pick your poison. I’d rather face Lakers than Minnesota or Denver.

We match up well with the Lakers and Rockets, that’s all you can ask for in a WCSF matchup.

But Lakers' star factor (and BS whistle) vs the Spurs' inexperience could even the series.
Timberwolves and the Nuggets have even more experience as a team playing together for a while than the Lakers.
It's an argument against the Spurs in every matchup.

If the Lakers remain hot and win their first round convincingly, I'm 99% sure everybody would be favouring them over us in a 2nd round matchup.
I kind of don't really care what anyone in the media says.

Lakers recent win streak is a bit misleading IMO. Some wins against good teams for sure but the Nuggets win was a big fluke and the Rockets suck tbh. I thought their best W was probably against the Knicks.

Luka is playing better for sure and they're trying more on defense but their issues remain and will likely be exposed in the playoffs. The only team I'd have them beating in the first round would be the Rockets. The Thunder and Spurs (should they meet in the 2nd round) would beat them handily even with their whistle tbh.
