Will the Spurs get HCA in the '25-26 Playoffs?

What are the chances of the Spurs reaching 60 wins? They only have to go 9-4, very attainable IMHO.
It's really much higher than it'd be on a "normal season" due to Wemby being so close to missing the games requirement to qualify for DPOY, All-NBA etc awards.

Like, tremendous 50-win season notwithstanding, I'd imagine any season with the Spurs being pretty much locked into a top-seed, they'd be giving Wemby several "designated rest days" at this point of the season that could make them drop those gimme games. But with Wemby being basically forced to play at least half the games for most, if not all remaining games? And with the way they've been playing lately...?

Between their early season run without him and this latest one, you can bet Sam Presti is sitting in his office right now crunching numbers and drafting contingency Jalen Williams trade scenarios.

Both J-Dub and Chet are overpaid, but the choice to me is clear: a DPOY-caliber Center > 2nd or 3rd tier wing.

Trading J Dub would be a mistake IMO unless they can get a Top 4-5 pick this draft and/or another guy that can create next to SGA.

They’ve played good ball since the AS break but OKC isn’t going back to back without a healthy J Dub tbh.

With Cason Wallace and Ajay Mitchell's growth on top of getting Jared McCain for free I think they can tbh.

Yeah, this will allow them to cover their bases (even by committee). Two long stretches of games now where they have looked awesome without him. Something to watch for in the playoffs or late season especially if he comes back and messes up their chemistry again

Clippers getting blown out by the Pelicans with Kawhi playing. I need to see again our matchup against them at full strength in couple of weeks because they should have no business being a threat to us..

lol OKC basically getting a 1st round bye between the Clippers and banged up Warriors while the other west teams have to fight their way through the round.

Losing to the tanking Memphis Grizz is a new low. Nuggets look so out of it; this team been basically a play-in team for 3 months now.

Spencer Jones going back to his career average after having the game of his life against us last time.
I'm legitimately seething at that loss. It took him and both Murray & Jokic emptying the clip (40 minutes played) for them to squeak out a win vs us without Wemby. For the first time, i'm starting to think Nuggets might lose in the first round.

Yeah Lakers are now favorites for 3rd seed: 2 games over Wolves/Rockets, 3 games over Denver and hold the tie-breaker over ALL three teams.
