I wonder if they're doing this on purpose (probably not) as an FU to the Spurs knowing full well that a Thunder loss gets the Spurs closer to the number one seed.

they are fighting for their own playoff positioning, so no, i doubt this very much. also why would they FU the spurs as opposed to FU the thunder who just beat them last year?

Yeah, probably. Do you think they think they can catch Detroit, though? Maybe they're content with 2nd.
I'm likely wrong, though, so all good. They're probably just resting/doing what they think is best for their team.

If they were to sit players on purpose, I would imagine that they are confident they will make the finals vs. OKC and don't want to show their cards.

Still not discounting the possibility of Denver getting hot and catching the Spurs for the 2-seed tbh, especially if the Spurs go on a skid here with their next two games being difficult.

Chet awarded the game winning FTs with 1.8 seconds on a rebound.
Can we get a replay.
The shitty angle BSPN provided shows Chets own man barreling into him. However i will say #13 on the Celts looks like he's trying to hump the OKC guy who ran into Chet.

Replay booth please.
Oh wait, Reflahoma doesn't do that.

Brown put absolute maximum effort into a double pivot fadeway jumper for the swish to tie it up at 102-102 with only about 6? seconds left.
And then the Celts fought like hell to get the rebound off baldly white boys 3 pt brick with about 4 seconds left.

If the Nuggets are healthy from here on out they could run the table tbh. Their schedule is extremely home heavy and easy. Their most difficult game remaining (at home against the Spurs) they'll of had two days off while the Spurs will be playing their third game in four nights.

Spurs have 3 early afternoon games left on the schedule, and knowing the team's history all three could be losses (the last one is a 2 PM game at Denver as the third game in four days). Got a bad feeling that final game of the season could be for the 2 seed tbh.

While it would have been nice to get the #1, the seeting might work out pretty well for us. Let's hope Denver stays at #4/5!

I don't fear Houston or the Lakers.

...and I somehow rather still be the underdog if we really meet OKC in thenplayoff.

But yeah, things might shake up again over the next few weeks.

That Denver game is also the last of my 3 game road trip with the team. You should probably go ahead and mark all 3 as losses, tbqh

Oh don't worry, the Spurs will definitely be the underdog should they meet OKC in the playoffs. ;)

This Pels Rox game is going down to the wire. NOP is actually a good team at full strength.

Anyway, it's a Rockets broadcast. Pelicans are in red uniforms but their score is listed as dark blue. Rockets are in dark blue uniforms but their score is listed in red. Dumbest thing.

The Rockets remain an offensively challenged team. They have to rely heavily on winning the possession game more often than not, and their lack of shooting comes biting them in the ass in a lot of close games.

Right now I fear a team like the Clippers in the POs more than the Rockets or even Phoenix. Rockets can play one style only and in today's NBA there's such variance when teams put up lots of threes (like the Celtics). It's easy for them to get hot and there's practically no way to win those games.
