Are you claiming the spurs are as good as their record? Minnesota, OKC, and Denver would definitely beat the Spurs in the playoffs. Houston and LA, as flawed as they are, would have a good shot too.

This team is wildly inconsistent and hasn’t improved its weaknesses at all.
The Spurs can beat anybody in the playoffs. They can lose to anybody in the playoffs. There is no dominant team in the NBA right now.

Does Porzinger give Golden a positive jolt?

We win either way tonight as Suns vs Golden Fake = a loss for one of them.
Do you guys think the Warriors are absolute toast this season.

I want them dead and buried, with heads cut off first.

There’s a large contingent on this board, you included, who see this team as far worse than reality. The game schedule is available, and doesn’t lie.

Don’t look now, but we’re two games up in the loss column on pretty much the rest of the field, and three up on Denver.
Have you seen me moan a lot? Can you provide some examples of me bitching about the team and implying they are worse than they are in reality?

Or are you just talking out of your ass?

Hornets @ Rockets is actually quite a big game for us

Rockets are currently the closest team to us in the loss column (we have 16 losses, houston has 18, denver 19)... and Hornets are 1.5 games behind ATL

Just came back and played 78 minutes within 24h.
yeah ive been critical of the extended "minutes restriction" stuff for wemby, but what denver is doing is ludicrous in the other direction. particularly a bad look for them when we've already seen aaron gordon re-aggravate his injury

Frustrating for the Nuggets for sure. The West is super wide open. OKC is still the best team and can still repeat but they are also not invincible. That's why repeat championships are more difficult to accomplish now.

How are we 7-3 on the last 10? This team seems like it has been playing .500 ball for more than a month now.
They were playing .500 ball for almost the whole month, but they're starting to play a little bit better now. I'm hoping they're turning the corner.

The Rockets and Hornets losses were somewhat expected but losing to the Pelicans felt like we lost 2 additional games, imo.

losing to memphis with half their team out, losing to pelicans... those were the brutal january losses

i can live with deni making a clutch 3 to help portland beat us, i can live with a hot charlotte team staying hot. but those were just inexcusable

The post I quoted was a moan, disbelief that we were 7-3 in 10 games when a quick check of the standings has us opening a gap on the 3 and 4 seeds. You don’t do that playing .500 ball.

A problem for Houston is Reed Sheppard has fallen off for a while now. He was hot earlier in the year and now's not as effective. Makes their bench that much worse. Durant can't carry

So, one light-hearted comment about the Spurs' record makes me a moaner that sees the team worse than it really is?

Also, the Spurs are 11-9 on the last 20 games, so it seems like my perception was pretty damn accurate, tbh.

Conclusion: you were pissing outside the bowl, per the usual.

Aaron’s hamstrings havebeen a near constant issue since he injured one of them in the playoffs last year.

You didn’t say 20, you said 10, and they are incontrovertibly 7-3.

Did the Rockets players quit on Ime? :st-lol:
I don't think they have the best team culture, but it's a thin roster where they don't have a basic point guard with FVV out, the loss of Stephen Adams means controlling rebounds is a lot harder. They only have two players who can generate offense in KD and Sengun. Jabari Smith is kind of meh. Reed Sheppard was hot but is getting killed on defense and hasn't been efficient for a while. Amen hasn't turned the corner and is sort of plateauing.

And they failed the deadline. If any team needed to make something happen, it was them. They have a pretty short window with Durant.
