What have you Splitter Sniffers got to say about that?

I thought Jrue Holliday would provide some sense for the 10 point lead.
Was not watching, some said thruout the comeback the Jokic stiff arms were SGA level tampering - pampering.

it’s gonna be funny to look at some of the cliff jumping when we beat the Nuggets 4-1 in that series tbh

Not sure why everyone seems to think a nuggets-wolves series would be a cakewalk for the Nuggets and a foregone conclusion

Nuggets has the experience though. If spurs play the nuggets in the 2nd round. Nuggets in 6 is the most likely outcome.

nuggets wolves will go 7 imo. I would have said Denver in 6 but I think the Dosunmu addition was huge for Minny given their lack of depth. We all know how well Minny matches up with the Nuggets.

I just think you are too confident, Mugs. Even though we both agree the Spurs are the better team. But here is a list of worries:

- Collective Youth and Inexperience (there will be moments of 'stage fright', 'deer in headlights'. 'flat out chokiness', 'getting figured out') How crucial? it depends. But playoffs virgins like Keldon & Vassell could get swallowed up just as any 20-year-old rookie)

- Can Wembanyama match Jokic's normal heavy load without tuckering out late in games? He is simply not conditioned for it from what I have seen while Jokic plays 40-42 minutes for fun and churns out 35-15-15 playoffs games like it's nothing .

- 3-ball defense, our Achilles heels, against Denver's expert shooters (Got to laugh at Gordon becoming a mélange of Klay and Robert Horry :st-lol:). We couldn't stop this team in 3 games so far and the defense has been getting progressively worse ever since Barnes ate away back again at Carter Bryant's minutes.

- Fox Kangs' loser ball (got an ugly glimpse of it already)

Wemby, Castle, Kornet and Harper (if given enough leash) are the only players I trust going to war with in this series as of today.

^^ That said, I'm seeing the same overconfidence Lakers fans displayed after they went on that cute little run being suddenly expressed by Nuggets fans and their media affiliates just because they won a bunch of clutch games lately in this winning streak.

Nuggets Fans don't need a cute little run in the RS in order to feel confident about their team. When healthy, the Nuggets have been of the best RS teams teams in the last couple of years - and they have also shown they can get it done in the Playoffs.

Nah, i'm seeig a creeping level of cockiness to the point of dismissing the Spurs as a threat and looking ahead to the Thunder in WCF just because they beat us at home in OT in SA's 3rd game in 4 nights while they were coming off 2 days of rest.

Well he’s still kicking ass unfortunately
He always guards Wemby, except he didn’t this last time. He’ll have good and bad days, but until he gets extended rest, it won’t be better. This first started in the playoffs last year.

While I’m legally obligated to say I don’t wish injury on anyone…I hope you’re right haha

The Nuggets Finals were one of the lowest TV ratings, while Wemby is the hottest thing in basketball right now. I’m not saying it’s going to get rigged, but I suspect we’ll see OKC vs Spurs in the WCF
