"Seeking multiple opinions" is never a good sign. It essentially means a breach of trust. it is why the "err on side of caution" path taken by the Spurs is the right move. This could derail Nuggets season, tbh.Gordon got rushed back and he is out again probably for another month..Same thing happened with Jalen Green..Stop messing around with soft tissue injuries. In today's league, it is automatic shutdown until full recovery..This is why Spurs medical staff took pains before clearing Fox and will do the same for Wemby/Harper. It is frustrating for us fans, but it's the right approach.
Jmac is according to the injury report you posted earlier. Not that he's important thoughNone of our guys are current out with hamstring injuries

Keep him out as long as he needs tbhJmac is according to the injury report you posted earlier. Not that he's important though![]()

Like clockwork. Rushing dudes from these types of injuries should be a fireable offense these days..
Saw it said in more than one place. What was Aaron Gordan's injury in the playoffs? Was that also a hamstring?
Did Denver rush him back?
I'm not sure how they could've rushed him back when he got injured back in May, surely took his time to recover. What was Aaron Gordan's injury in the playoffs? Was that also a hamstring?

I didn't think they rushed him back. I was replying to one of the posters above that said "Rushing dudes from these types of injuries should be a fireable offense these days.."I'm not sure how they could've rushed him back when he got injured back in May, surely took his time to recover.
Hamstrings are tough to deal with because for most players it becomes a recurring issue.
Well first off, one was a hamstring and the other is a calf strain. Secondly, it's hard to really compare because Fox's occurred in the offseason and we didn't get any real insight into what his training/recovery looked like in the immediate aftermath. What is the comparison between Wembys strain and Fox’s? Bc Fox took like 5 months to recover. This could be a 2 month injury.
Anyone else get a sinking feeling in the pit of their stomachs reading this?
Was some discussion around this in the Castle thread, but here’s another thread from McDonald. He says that he would bet against Wemby being ready by next week (in time for the NBA Cup QF). Later says it’s not impossible, but his impression is that it’s “iffy”. Says that he should be a lock to return by Christmas which isn’t very assuring
If this is true, looking like it’ll pretty much be a 4+ week absence for Wemby and 12 missed games. All of this for a supposedly minor calf strain…
I'm not too concerned, tbh.Anyone else get a sinking feeling in the pit of their stomachs reading this?
I mentioned this in the Castle thread... but Casey Viera and Devin Brown discussed this a little after the DEN game and one of them used the phrase "whatever is going on with Wemby". Devin seems to fairly good access to what is happening around the team, so this has me concerned.
