I guess all things have to change at some point. Great of them building Spurstalk all those years though. Salute!

Amazing that this is the one line you can’t cross on Spurstalk. Fuck that place and the people who run it
I remember some of the antivax shit during the worst of the pandemic crossed a line and got that pos Spurtacular neutered. I didn't complain to the admin or anything but I was massively pissed after my closest childhood friend who I went to a ton of games with died of COVID, catching it 2-3 weeks before the vaccines became reasonably gettable without needing to monitor them with a hawkeye. So I unloaded on him when he talked shit about that friend dying and about the vaccine. RIP 4Down (was his Spurstalk handle).

I remember 4Down. RIP.

Finished Bananza a couple of weeks ago, fucking amazing, but now nothing whatsoever to play on my Switch 2. Is DL The Beast anywhere near as good as the original? God I hated DL2, it was my GTA IV of the 2020s that I played through only because of how much I liked the series.
I went back and relayed bloodborne. Finally got around to getting platinum for it. Was the first fromsoft gave I’d played and was pretty fun going back to it for the first time in about 6 years

Next 3 on my list are TLOU2, Demons Souls, then finally Elden Ring

Interested to hear what you think about TLOU2 after you beat it. Most people either love it or absolutely hate it. I thought it was a masterpiece

Spurstalk is back but I’ll stay here, hopefully we can get this thing to progress.

I’m sure once there is spurs/basketball related things happening this place will pick up just fine

August and September are the dull months of the nba calendar. Post draft, summer league, free agency buzz, pre-camp and preseason buzz

True and allowing time to get others to become aware of this place so once the season begins, there are enough users to make it a viable site

Longtime lurker from the back in the SpursReport days. Originally found this community looking for more information on draft prospect, Tim Duncan. Learned a lot over the years from posters like Marcus Bryant, Ghostwriter and TimVP to name just a few. Glad to see this space still exist online with a renewed Spurs focus and better servers.

Demon's Souls is stunning graphically and has some amazing level design but the combat does not hold up at all compared to even Dark Souls 1 much less Bloodborne or Elden Ring. Kind of the same way Uncharted 1 feels like such an enormous step down vs Uncharted 2-4, which seem of roughly the same quality. Basically the boss fights aren't that good in Demon's Souls. Even the final boss I breezed through on my second attempt. TLOU2 is a masterpiece; I'm dying waiting for TLOU3. I think it's much better than the first and TLOU1 was the biggest reason I ever bought a PS4 and I love the game.
