I look at it this way.On the topic of trying to pry Risacher out of a Dallas deal, I'm not inclined to give up the 26 swap. I'd rather give up the unprotected 27 pick.
We're not likely to be picking in top10 barring some more bs luck.
Risacher is a low ceiling, but high floor prospect. He's definitely going to be a solid 3-D wing for many years. Already a positive defender with great size and can shoot the ball.
That's with all the expecations and the burden of being the #1 pick at a dysfunctional organization.
I don't think our odds of getting a better player with either of those picks are that high. Obviously we've had a ton of lottery luck, but I wouldn't rely on it to happen again.
