We usually drive in late Friday then head out Sunday evening so timing is tight esp if there’s family stuff on sat. But I’ll keep that in mind

Just spent the last few days in LA. Had a life-changing shrimp taco in the Pinata District at a place called Mariscos 4 Vientos.

Even though the political field in Cali is trash, Cali itself is still a magical place only someone who's been there knows. Beautiful weather, plenty to do, and an aura of inspiration. I do miss LA at times but I need to venture out further next time I visit.
 
I reached out to Ice009, spursistan, and Amuseddaysleeper on SpursTalk. I wish BillMc was still a regular because we need our Riga time friend back.

This is probably going to take a little while, it's the slow part of the offseason and I'm sure some people are still on the fence. But already there's a lot more life here than there was at SpursTalk in a long time. The platform was sucking the life out of the community.

Can't go wrong with the food, weather and the ladies here, tbh. But you guys have some good stuff over there too. I was just in Austin for work, and had some great food at Odd Duck.

All the coast here is great, tbh. San Diego, Santa Barbara, Pismo beach, Monterrey, all great places to escape for a while from the big city and have a great time.

I’m sure it will slightly pick up when the season starts but I’m ready to take the “ST” off my username on here in a couple days. Just embarrassing moderation of that site for a while now. The downfall is kinda deserved.

The backstory is they didn’t care and mostly still don’t.

Don’t confuse less clutter to stripped down. This place flows and works much better. I’m sure we’ll see a fair amount of improvements and quality of life type functionality here as the months go by.

I don’t think we will see 10 different sub forums and for this place to cater to politics and crap like that.

Looks stripped down but has more features under the hood in its basic form and most importantly, works. It's the Honda Civic of forums
