Figured I'd do a game thread before the season is over. GSG

We won 3 quarters and tied one. Perhaps you need to refill your prescription for The Meds…

Why are you asking me, the only thing I care about is GT titles being uniform, I'm not into any of your superstitious nonsense.Yeah, I won last night, so I stay on. LeBowen?

Rule 1 is if Wemby gets hurt in your game thread you should be banned for the season tbhThis GT violates one of my unofficial GT rules (but so did Ex’s previous GT, tbh) but it does adhere to the 1st rule, which overrides all other GT rules:
Rule #1: There are no actual rules.
Damn that's awesome. If Vic misses a game or 2, Unc should get some extra minutesUnlikely to happen unless we sit a bunch of guys after tonight, but the fact that we're this close is pretty impressive tbh.
No reason he can't average 14 PPG over the next three if the Spurs decide to give him extra touches. That said, the team will prolly prioritize getting younger players more reps (as they should tbh).Unlikely to happen unless we sit a bunch of guys after tonight, but the fact that we're this close is pretty impressive tbh.
Don't want to put bad juju in the air, but just for discussion's sake: how would people feel about our chances of taking down Phoenix/LAC without Wemby in round 1? Let's say he's still banged up and the risk of re-injury is fairly elevated still when round 1 starts...would you err on the side of caution in hopes that SA can take care of their 1st round opponent, or do you play Wemby and hope for the best?yeah the immediate diagnosis was a contusion as opposed to a broken/fractured rib. contusions can be extremely painful and rib injuries tend to be more painful than most... but looks like a bullet has been dodged. he will probably still be in pain during round 1 of the playoffs but short of a direct blow to exactly the same spot, shouldnt be at too much risk for aggravation. its something else if you are a kickboxer with a contusion on your shin... you basically shoudnt compete at that point until its healed because if the high likelihood of direct contact at exactly the injured spot
tbh if it wasnt for the 65 game thing, good chance he'd just be shut down to allow it to heal as much as possible before round 1
Depends on whether rounding counts as double digits. NBA.com had Barnes at 9.9pts/GM after last night. Believe he started the game at 10.0.Unlikely to happen unless we sit a bunch of guys after tomorrow night, but the fact that we're this close is pretty impressive tbh.
absolutely not. can just have some protective gear to avoid aggravationDon't want to put bad juju in the air, but just for discussion's sake: how would people feel about our chances of taking down Phoenix/LAC without Wemby in round 1? No he's playing. Won't have the opening game of the playoffs at home until the 18th or 19th.. It comes down to when does he want to try for these last 20 min he needs? Wed, or later?Don't want to put bad juju in the air, but just for discussion's sake: how would people feel about our chances of taking down Phoenix/LAC without Wemby in round 1?
